I have a virtually nonexistent proximal length. It stops right below the public bone. 15 cm implant and right at 14 cm distal length (5.5").

Day 7:
Moderate to strong pain continues. At this point all I can do is to be patient, keep movement to a minimum, take the medication and wear tight underwear. I did spoke to the doctor about the pain increase and he attributed it to the premature manipulation of the scrotum on wednesday (day 5). I hope this pain subsides soon.

New here and to this topic. What do these numbers mean that I've seen like 22 + 3, 24 + 2? Thank you.

First number is the length of the cylinder from tip-to-tip. The second number is when the cylinder needs a little extra length so a special "extender tip" is added. Sometimes multiple extender tips, known as RTE or Rear Tip Extenders are added. This is usually done either because of the exact needed length not being available or manufactured, but sometimes it is done to change the part of the man's penis where the tubing exits the corpora. Depending on whether the installation is done through infrapubic (through the area just above the penis) or penoscrotal (just below the penis, above the balls), the tubing will need to exit differently and may need to be closer to the surface or deeper in depending on the method. The tips allow this adjustment of where the tubes exit.

Day 20:
I'm happy to be walking again, even if still timely restricted by pain. Bouts of standing up to 30-40 minutes are not an issue anymore, and more than that I start to get light pain and discomfort. I admit that up to day 14 I was barely able to stand up, and as soon as I did I'd immediately feel a 8.5/10 pain.
I had a doctor's appointment at day 11 and he figured that my pump was lightly attached to the bottom of my sack. It does move but its well anchored somewhere, and I've been pulling and lightly wiggling it daily to try and get it loose. I'm ok with this positioning. It is centered, anchored down, behind and below my testicles, just about perfect for concealment I'd guess. The only mistery is the deflate button, I'm hoping for it to be easily accessible as well after all the swelling goes down, because of it I cannot determine if I'll have issues with it. Only time will tell.
Doctor did mention about a possible repositioning of the pump if I'm not happy with the pump's handling because of it's attachment to the bottom of my scrotum and I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.

As of now I'm at 20% inflation according to my doctor, and I'm measuring 15.5cm bone pressed. Flaccid hanging at 4:30 and I can easily press it down to 5:00, but limited by time due to pain.

Sex at 20% inflation does work and I have no pain. I have been masturbating, getting blown since I left the hospital and I'm extremely happy I haven't lost any sensitivity. I orgasm and cum slightly better than before the procedure. I orgasm and ejaculate about 3 to 4 times a day. Sex started at day 17 with no issues even if the shaft isn't hard at all but it is enough to insert in a well lubricated vagina. I'm starting to get more excited by the day thinking about the future and using the new toy. Currently I'm simply waiting for the swelling to subside so I can locate the deflate button and start cycling and continuing to have sex.

Hi bud,

Hope you continue to heal and improve!
What does "bone pressed mean?
Also you said about flaccid being at 4:30 and 5:00. Is this a time of day or minutes and seconds to deflate or something else? I am considering an implant .

Thanks! Ray

You are a braver man than I, jerking it when you can barely stand up!! Sounds like you've even moved on to sex, which sounds lovely! Doc said no sex for another 2 weeks for me (implanted infrapubic 1 week ago), and I'm taking that to mean no orgasms...He might not, but I just don't want to fuck around while I'm in pain.

Congrats on the progress with pain and recovery. I've hit a 7-8 now and then (major cramp around the reservoir and groin, could barely breathe), mostly hanging around 1-2 with an occasional 3 or 4 when the tubes kink or my ball moves past the pump (still getting used to the new neighbor in there).

I think as far as the pump goes, I'd be a little worried about the adherence...Even now and then when I'm trying to pump, the pump kind of slips out of my fingers and goes flying up against my ball (I hate it, but have gotten better at preventing it). Honestly if that happens, it'll probably take care of that adherence for you.

Anyway, really glad things are working out! I've got a titan touch 21+1, with DEEP proximal embedding. I'm about 16cm from my pubic bone to my tip, so there's something like 8-9cm of device all up in there. Surgery notes confirm it! Interesting how things end up differently for so many folks!

Take care, and good luck with the healing!

Ray,

"BONE PRESSED" means you take a ruler and press it hard against the pubic bone right above your dick, then you read the mark at the end that is even with the tip of your dick.

The clock analogy is referring to positions on a clock. 3 o'clock would be horizontal or sticking straight out from your body, level with the ground. 2 o'clock would be 30 degrees higher and 4 o'clock would be 30 degrees lower than straight out. 4:30 would be 45 degrees from straight out as well as 45 degrees from straight *DOWN*.

Hey,
Thanks for explaining that so quickly. This is all new to me as I research. I might hit you up again. Again, thanks!

Days 21-23:
I started to play with my sack and noticed how soft it was. After fondling it for a while I was confident I had found the deflate button. That settled it, I was going to inflate it, and so I did to about 50%, I think. Once it presented enough rigidity I quit the inflation and went straight to deflation, thinking that if I was successful at it I'd push the boundaries for the next inflation cycle. So after about 2 hours of much sweat, discomfort and anxiety trying to find the deflate button, I wasn't achieving success, and after much insistency from my girlfriend, I decided to let her give a try. Guess what? Her skinny fingers were able to find that damn button. Moral of the story: always give people a chance.

After this episode I was also able to find the deflate, however, I just noticed that after sex the scrotum tightens up quite alot and as of now it's been extremely challenging to find the button post sex, which is the moment I feel the most pain and immediately want to get rid of all the inflation. I do hope that finding this button gets easier and easier with time, even with the tightened post sex scrotum. I'd appreciate if you guys could share and relate your experiences with this issue.

I don't know how much I'm able to inflate right now before pain starts increasing rapidly but I'd guess about 50-60% and I measure 16.5cm with this level of inflation.
Previous measurements :
-19-20cm stretched flaccid.
-18cm at surgery table with 60-70% inflation (according to surgeon).
-17.5cm with a partial erection pre-op
->20cm with a penile pump pre-op(couldn't determine the exact length as I was limited by the tube size of 20cm and could easily hit the top.

As far as my curve from pre-op, I still have the penis leaning slightly towards the left. Pre-op it was shaped like a banana. Now I can feel the cylinders straightening the shaft during inflation. At this point it seems that atleast some of the pain and discomfort from cycling is related to the straightening of the curve. The current shape of the penis is relatively strange, there are sharper curves with lessened angles instead of a constant banana like curve if that makes any sense. The left cylinder tip reaches mid glans and the right cylinder tip reaches very far distally and there's perhaps a 0.5-0.75cm discrepant distance between the tips, which accentuates this left turning tendency, which makes me think that either asymmetric rear tips extenders should've been used (3.5cm on the left and just 3 on the right instead of the current setup of 3L+3R) to compensate for the lengthier corpus cavernosum on the left side (which is strange since the lengthier corpus cavernosum should've been the right one since it sits on the outside of the left curve). Best case scenario is simply that the cylinders haven't fully stretched yet and once it rids itself of all the folds and completely straightens then both tips would reach distally equally completely eliminating this left turning tendency.

Flaccid update:
Now hanging at 5:00 and I can easily put it away. It does generate some discomfort after being pressed down by clothing for 30m or more. I might need to alternate between letting it hang and putting it up after I get back to work. Right now putting it to either side is painful and impractical.
