My Story - Titan implant by Dr. Yafi - Now with Dick Pics!

Hi All,

I just wanted to chime in and share my journey towards an implant in hopes it will help others who are struggling with pulling the trigger. I have wrestled with ED from the first time I attempted sex around 16yo. Being able to penetrate, but eventually going soft was an experience that would repeat itself throughout my life for decades. I was unable to comprehend how this was possible as I had an insatiable lust for women. How was I able to spend so many hours a day with a firm erection via porn? I found myself terrified of being romantic with women in fear of disappointment and embarrassment.

I found my way into a doctor's office around 18yo, but he only downplayed my concerns by assuring me I was too young to be suffering from ED. I was happy the doctor was confident in me overcoming my ED, but nothing changed for the better. I eventually visited a Urologist who diagnosed me with VL at the age of 25yo. I did not want to consider having an implant at such a young age and kept telling myself it had to be something else like smoking weed, masturbating, or psychological issues. I tried injections for short while, but never became comfortable with sticking a needle in my shaft. Unfortunately, my sex life continued to go nowhere beyond mutual masturbation.

It's embarrassing to say I pretty much gave up on having a real relationship through most of my thirties. There were occasional women who I came out to by telling them of my disability. A lot of them considered it a challenge to have sex with me in hopes they could be the one to get me over the hump. Of course, it still had the same outcome of me going soft, feeling awkward, and eventually fading away to avoid further embarrassment.

I stumbled on the latest ED fad called NoFap around the age of 35yo. I truly felt I had been de-sensitized by decades of confiding in pornography and masturbation. I attempted to quit jerking off and watching porn, but it had become much more difficult than I expected; I found myself giving into temptation every couple weeks. I eventually hit the "reset" goal of 90 days of no pornography and masturbation, but I saw no change the firmness or sensitivity. As a matter of fact I was quite disappointed in how weak my erection and orgasm was after abstaining 90 days.

I began a long distance relationship with a woman who began to care deeply about. I was living in Chicago and visiting her in California every couple weeks. I spilled my guts after our first night together and she was confused but compassionate to say the least. She motivated me to go back to a Urologist to get another opinion. I visited a Uro at Northwestern Hospital and began TRT (Clomid) along with daily 5mg Cialis. I had a strong inclination this was not the cure, but what would it hurt? The way I saw it, having a firmer erection and a bit more more muscle via testosterone was not a bad thing. Unfortunately, neither prescription worked and the only other options given by the doc were testosterone shots and higher dosage of dick pills or an implant.

I fell in love with my girlfriend and eventually moved out to Southern California after about a year together. She helped me find a Uro in Newport who referred me to Dr. Yafi. I explained I had already tried every remedy in the book and was now seriously considering an implant. He did not want to jump right into an implant and suggested I try injections and a higher grade of testosterone. I agreed to take his advise, but alas this was not the cure to my ailment. The injections only put me at an erection around 3-4 o'clock and the test only gave me better workouts and cystic acne.

Unfortunately, COVID struck my industry and I soon found myself with the dilemma of not having a job with insurance. I explained to Dr. Yafi it was do or die and we had to move forward with an implant instead of higher testosterone doses or more dopplers. He was very understanding and scheduled me for surgery sooner than later.

Like many I became filled with anxiety as my surgery date approached. I had many uncertainties and continuously wondered if I should put off surgery and keep trying other possible remedies. Ultimately, I felt it was beyond the point of no return and decided to keep the date. I was unable to sleep the night prior to surgery and happen to stumble upon FrankTalk. I found the board username FixTDix who shared his results after surgery with Dr. Yafi. A peace came over me after reading his story and the high praise he gave to Dr. Yafi.

I am out of surgery six days and have high hopes for my future sex life. A lot of my bruising has subsided, and I am feeling certain waves of sensation while being partially inflated. I was implanted with a Titan 20cm. I haven’t measured my dick since I was young, but I believe I was around 5.5-6 inches prior to surgery. It feels and looks as if I have not lost any length and actually gained girth. I will provide pics and measurements within the next few days via my phone because my girlfriend's kids use the laptop I'm posting from this evening.

Like FixTDix, I am writing my story to not only help others, but also give high praise to one of the top implant doctors in the country, Dr. Yafi. His team was nothing but professional and provided great care throughout the process. As of now he has left me with little scarring and bruising. I am happy to answer any questions or comments anyone may have.

Wow, your story is so damn similar to mine, but you actually got diagnosed with VL much sooner! Every urologist I went to basically just shrugged and handed me a prescription for dick pills. But I tried all the same things (I'm still on TRT, actually), including NoFap and injections...Same reaction on all counts.

Definitely keep sharing about your experience...I'm definitely adjusting to the weirdness of the flaccid Titan, fitting stuff into clothes, a few weeks out of surgery. I'm sure a lot of things will keep on changing and improving over the next few months, but it's helpful to have more folks out there in the same situation to discuss things with.

Here are a few pics about 11 days out of surgery. My right side is more bruised because my girlfriend accidentally brushed against me try to get by in a tight hallway. I wasn’t in much pain, but noticed I was bruised while showering the next day.

I’m paranoid about that area now. Noticed there’s a tube underneath the right side of shaft area, but not my left side. I’m assuming that’s the tube for the saline? Hopefully, that is the way the Titan is for most. I was also an idiot and did pull ups yesterday. Afterwards, I felt a little uncomfortable around my lower left belly. I hope I didn’t screw anything up. Going to take it easy until I see Dr. Yafi on Thursday.

That looks great. Your dick and mine look kinda similar with similar measurements. You have a lot of good natural girth it seems. That bruising will definitely settle down, and the tube you feel is the reservoir tube. I felt it at first but less so after a few weeks, and you'll eventually ignore it and probably won't even feel it anymore.

Do you feel your pump is hanging like your nuts or it just stays in the middle below your shaft in an elevated position?

Interestingly I feel my tubing to be on the left side of the body. Not sure, if its the case for any others!

Pump stays below my shaft. Doesn’t hang as low as my testies. I’m advised to pull in it three times a day, but I have been wary of tugging too hard.

I got implanted on the 1st and through the haze of all the surgery and catheter/drain removal I'm pretty sure the Dr's aid told me not to pull on the pump but to massage my sack. I didn't work up the courage for about a week and it felt like the pump block was sticking to where the stitches are. I remember a posting where the guy's Uro simply yanked the pump loose and the guy says he was seeing stars. I didn't want that to happen so I've now been massaging away. It seems to have broken loose but my sack is on the small side so the pump is sitting kind of high. The down side is my sack is burning if I stand for too long or don't take a Tylenol. I expect things will calm down soon. Congratulations on getting your issues fixed so early on. There was so little information when I needed it that I thought a penile implant would render me sterile. Frank Talk is pretty helpful.
