Thank you everyone for your replies, it is reassuring. I hope things go well for all of us.
I waited 4 years to have this surgery and now that it's done I can't imagine having to go through it all again. I am in the UK and my surgery was done on the NHS so I can imagine having to wait years again if something (God forbid) malfunctioned or went wrong.
I waited hours before I was taken into the operating room and I almost bottled it and talked myself out of it. I was going to leave and go home. I am quite young compared to most guys going for this surgery so I hope I don't need too many revisions or I could end up with nothing, literally.
Thanks for your posts guys. Wish you all good luck.

Re: Implanted on Wednesday...
Sonny Jim, tell this might help you. My surgeon had me completely deflated after surgery. After a bit healing and swelling going down he then gave it a few pumps. At the month mark he fully pumped it up. I must say I did not have any pain and love the new me. My surgery was Mid-January. Could not be more pleased. Hand in there. Good days ahead.

My advice is don't worry about it. Every Doctor seems to have their own protocol ... mine left me completely uninflated for 4 weeks after surgery - only then did I start cycling.
Everything has turned out just fine.
Oh, thank god. Were you told to keep it in any kind of position or just not told anything at all like me?
Sigh...
I had the pump positioned kind of straight in my scrotum where I was pulling it down gently every day but this morning when I woke up and checked, it's now kind of tilted to the side. It is difficult to get it perfectly straight now too because some of the tubing is sitting at the side of my scrotum and I can't really move it that well.
Re: Implanted on Wednesday...
I'm more than 3 weeks out and I'm still adjusting the pump. From what I've read it eventually settles in. Just keep training it.

Jim, I wasn't given any post-op advice on how I should hang or be stored. I'd guess whatever is most comfortable would work. Good luck with your recovery. I can only imagine the fun you can have with the new you.

Thanks everyone who has replied, I do appreciate it.
One last thing before I shut up (for now) is that I can feel the tubes in the left side of my scrotum. Is that normal? I'm guessing it is.
Just have to get used to the discomfort of it I suppose.
Thanks guys

With time I didn’t have any discomfort. Things will settle in and you really won’t think anything about it except you know it’s always ready, willing and able !!!

Re: Implanted on Wednesday...
Today is day 5.
Still feel pretty shitty to be honest. The pain meds are making me constipated but the pain is much worse without them. Makes me wonder how painful the penoscrotal method is if the pain is this bad with infrapubic.
Biggest annoyance so far is the pump, I do pull it down from time to time but it isn't ever exactly straight because the tubing above it is now sitting on the left side of my scrotum. Can anyone tell me what is normal?
Despite the fact that Ive been deflated since the day after the surgery, I'm trying to position my dick against my belly, pointing upwards because from what I have read this will decrease the chance of my erection pointing downwards and give it a better angle.
When I was discharged they said i would get a follow up within a week because the benefits of the method used means I can start cycling earlier, or something. Still not heard anything about when that appointment will be. I would like to start cycling soon but I'm worried in case anything goes wrong so I'll just wait.
Anyone else who had theirs done infrapubic start cycling very soon after? What's the usual amount of time to wait?
Thanks guys.
Sorry if there's any spelling mistakes, I'm still groggy.

I also had infrapubic surgery. As far as pain, the worse was days 4-7, so you are there. Gradually improved by day till around day 14 when the only discomfort I have is lower abdomen where reservoir is located.
Pump is finally starting to settle into place, just right of center in scrotom. Becoming much easier to identify release button which makes cycling much easier. Began cycling on day 15. Doctor said I could start anytime after week two, although was not mandatory. Said only cycle if scrotal pain allowed it. Currently cycling once a day for about 15 minutes, but think I might move to twice daily soon. Cleared me for sex at week three,,,,but I kind of cheated there. Wife and I were cuddling,,,,,and you know,,,,things happen.
Hang in there brother, like many before us have said, it gets better.

Re: Implanted on Wednesday...
Although my implant is a Coloplast it took some time for my pump to settle in. It pretty much hangs towards the left now, but just a little. Any position you find comfortable for your penis should be fine, decrease the pain as much as possible. And take some laxative with those pain pills, they got me so backed up it hurt.
When you have your follow up ask if you are healed enough to take a bath. A hot bath was my morning start every day to help me feel good.
