Anglee of erection, with an implant.

Postby Masonjames » Fri Oct 16, 2020 5:25 pm

If this thread has already been discussed then I apologize.
My erections when I was younger were pretty upright. As I aged they got lower due to softer erections. hey were probably at about three O'clock with Trimix before my implant. Now they are about four O'clock at best. Really hard but just not standing up much. Will the angle improve over time or is this my new normal? I'm going on 7 weeks out of surgery.
Anyone else experience this? I've seen some really nice upstanding erections here. Hoping mine improves. Not complaining and I'll be fine if it don't. Just curious. all this is new to us new comers. Thanks in advance for your input.

My youthful erections almost reached my belly. They came to within an inch of touching.

As I grew older, my erections still came to within an inch of touching my belly.

This was despite my erections now pointing nearly straight out from my body. My belly was reaching out to my erection.

OK, getting serious and not making a joke at your expense.

I am pretty sure all men's erections sag as they get older. Ligaments (in particular for the penis' angle, the suspensory ligament) get looser. Veins' ability to constrict get less (although the implant removes that as a factor).

The angle of your implant depends a LOT on the condition of your crus and how the rear tip (the proximal end) of your implant fits into it.

After implant, knowing this and wanting to have as vertical an erection as possible, I made sure to keep my penis pointed up ALL THE TIME. This allows scar tissue to grow around the proximal end of the penis, hopefully keeping the rear tip oriented upwards. It helped that I wore underwear that supported my penis upwards anyway. I never did "hang" down very well, being a "grower" until my implant. Even now, I don't hang all that well anyway.

Sorry to be the bearer of news not what you wanted to hear.

I suppose, in a best case scenario, at 7 weeks you might be able to affect the angle of your erection by "training" your crus. I don't think it could hurt if you go gently. I envision having your implant partially inflated (not so much as to compress penile tissues to the point of impeding blood flow through your spongiosum, etc) and wearing underwear that presses your penis up as much as possible. 24/7 and for the next several months and somewhat less-inflated for the rest of your life. This is just my guess and what I am doing.

Masonjames, your suspensory ligament has probably gotten slack with age. Also, if you have a short crus you may not have the leverage needed to keep it higher. The suspensory ligament is the fulcrum in a lever/fulcrum system. The crus when it is quite long (or normal) goes back as far as the back of the pelvis and acts as the back lever to lift the penis. In my case I am missing that lever (strike one), and my suspensory ligament or fulcrum is slack (strike 2)... In this game apparently two strikes make for a low angle. Mine hangs about 4 o'clock when inflated fully but it is roughly 5:00 to 5:30 when deflated (until the tissues start to plump up).

Thanks for your reply. I have no idea how deep or shallow my Crus is. You are probably right about the suspensory ligaments getting weak with age.

You can estimate the depth of your crus by taking the full length of your implant including any rear tip extenders, and subtract your bone-pressed penis length from that. Also factor in about one centimeter or half inch for glans penetration so the implant doesn't quite go to the end.

My implant (no RTE) is 15cm (5.9") and I get about 1.25 cm (0.5") of glans beyond the tips. My penis length "BONE PRESSED" is about 5.5" (14") on most days.

14.00 cm (penis length)
- 1.25 cm (glans past tip)
--------------
12.75 cm (distal or external implant)

15.00 cm (my implant size)
-12.75 cm (distal/external implant length)
---------------
2.25 cm (proximal/internal implant length)

2.25 cm = 0.885" -- My crus is only 2.25 cm or 0.9" deep, barely enough to get to the suspensory ligament under the pubic bone.

My implant was a 24cm Titan xl with 1.5cm RTE's. My bone pressed erections is 7.25 inches long or 18.415cms in length.

May I ask how your implant has been since surgery when it is flaccid? A bit off topic but wonder if it has been rigid and difficult to bend or more flexible? I am one week away of my procedure and wondering about things like swim briefs and even pants. Thanks!

This means you could possibly have about an 8cm crus, give or take. That's just over 3", slightly less than half you're distal length and just almost the average 2:1 ratio for distal to proximal length.

It's gotten better he farther I've gotten away form the esurgery. It's not soft like my natural flaccid penis but it's not hard either. The Titan is gonna make you bigger flaccid because you wont have the shrinkage that you had before the implant. Personally I like going from a grower to a shower. Nothing wrong with a man showing a bulge in swim wear. All men have dicks just like women have breast. Bigger breast show and the same is true for bigger penises. It's not like you're purposely trying to expose yourself. It's just what you have now.
