I am now 7 weeks post op. Had swelling issues for first 6 weeks. Saw my Uro at week 6 and he confirmed I was still swollen. Now this last week, the swelling has really come down. To the point where I could finally find the T block and the button in the middle of the T block. I press it and hold it for 4 seconds and then release. I dont feel a click or a buzz. I squeeze the cylinders and feel like it deflates a little but nowhere near flat. For instance, if I was inflated to 50%, I feel like it may go to 30%. Still firm. Just enough to relieve the pressure, but I also feel like it inflates again to 50% over 30-45 minutes. My question is once you open the deflate valve, how long does it remain open? Same question on the inflate bulb. I was once able to pop the inflate bulb. Felt like I broke it. Like squeezing a grape. Thats normal right? Ive never been able to get that pop again. Is there a reset button? Did I read somewhere that if you squeeze both ends of the T block, that will reset everything?
Thanks guys, I am much better than the first 6 weeks. Just want everything to work as designed. I have the AMS LGX
65 years old. Implanted 9-4-20, AMS 700 LGX, 18cmX12cm, 4cm RTE
