Hi there, im one week post op with an ams 70plgx implant. Ive pretty much been told nothing except to not inflate or use my penis until my appointment in 4 weeks. Im not sure if im having an issue or not but here is my questions/concerns=
#1- I figured the pump would be positioned in between my testicles, it seams to stay between of my left testicle and my left leg which is causing a sharp pinching sensation every now and then. Is the pump sutured in place or can i grab it and slide it around in my scrotum to a more comfortable position?
#2- prior to the implant surgery i was a "grower" that would go from an 1 1/2" flaccid penis to a nice average 6" erection. Now im moreso a "shower" with a 3 1/2" deflated penis, do the cylinders expand in length while being inflated?
#3- when should i start trying to cycle the implant? Some literature states immediately once swelling goes down and some states not to for 4-6 weeks post op?
Im sorry to bother you guys with these basic questions but i cant get ahold of my surgeon until my 4 week appointment and theres no one else to give me any info or guidance on the subject. Any info or advice will be muchly appreciated. Thanks
My device is an ams 700lgx with 18cm cylinders with 4cm rear tip extenders, whatever that all means.

Re: Help, AMS 700LGX
Hate to say it but patience. You are swollen. Your sac is traumatized. Your shaft is traumatized. You have dried blood everywhere. Tissue. You name it. It take a time for all this to heal enough to figure out what is going on.
I would just step back. Take a breath and not get real excited about what anything looks like for another couple weeks. Let the swelling, bruising, blood in your sac all get absorbed or healed by your body. Then you figure out where you are. First is tips. Are they in your glans good or close. When you can find deflate button that is a good sign trauma is getting better.
At 3 weeks I thought I was doing great. But still did not find my deflate button.
Patience. You did not get here quickly. This is a long game. Heal, see your doc, then see how it goes.
When you start pumping, where tips are is your most important guide.

Re: Help, AMS 700LGX
Thanks buddy. Actually i can feel the bulb and the deflate button and have been able to for the last few days. But, should the pump not be in the middle between my testicles or does that not matter yet?
Re: Help, AMS 700LGX
Couldn't agree with SW more. I had my 6 week appt with my URO and he told me I was still swollen on the inside. The walls of the sac were still too think to fell anything in there. Now, at week 7, everything seemed to calm down to the point where I could feel the edges of the pump block CLEARLY. I do remember thinking the side of the block was stuck to the side wall of my sac. Everyone heals differently. I may be at the long end of healing but patience is key. Once the swelling is gone on the inside, then you get to wrestle with finding the deflate button. Its definitely a journey

Sorry I was not more specific. After revision. Pump was behind my testicles. Closer to my right one. Crowded it out. At 7 months it is in the middle a bit closer to the right one. After swelling things kind of rearrange.
If you feel like it is attached to skin, I did massage skin to see if I could get it free. Did not really do much till week 3. I would massage sac around the pump when I was ok to take a hot bath.

Thank you very much guys!
Re: Help, AMS 700LGX
As the other guys said, give it time for your body to heal. It was 6wks before I was activated and then I had doubts. I LOVE my LGX now and wouldn't let it go for anything. I was a grower (1.5" flaccid to 7" erect) like you before surgery and now am definitely a show'er (3.5ish" flaccid to 7" erect) so yes you should get most if not all of your length back as long as your surgeon sized you correctly. Here is a post I started here on FT about some feelings I had after I was activated (caution does have penis pics in it). Read my post Went from "What did I do" to " OH YEAH!!" (here on FT). This details my initial "buyers remorse" I had right after activation. Not everyone experiences this and some come out the gate wide open but I didn't. Hopefully this might help you get through it if your experience is like mine. Basically the short answer is "it takes time, hang in there". BTW we have the exact same size implant so you should be very happy with it once you heal up and cycle it.

You have another resource. AMS provides a Paitient Liaison. He can answer SOME questions. No medical advice, but can describe the implant and perhaps give some assurance of what is normal and what may become a medical emergency.
Your surgeon's office should be able to help as well. Even if the whole office is on vacation, there should be a doctor identified to cover your surgeon's patients. Anything less is, in my opinion medical irresponsibility - to operate on a patient and leave him to his own devices for a month. If your post-op instructions were inadequate,

My LGX is an 18 + 3 and my dimensions are almost identical yours. Maybe 3" flaccid and almost 6" erect depending on the tumescence of my glans. More specifically, my erection before E.D., immediately before operation (I did not lose any length to E.D., having used a VED when natural erections became absent) and now, 2 years after I am still just a hair under 6".#2- prior to the implant surgery i was a "grower" that would go from an 1 1/2" flaccid penis to a nice average 6" erection. Surgeons have their techniques and have observed the condition of your insides and should advise you accordingly. For example, if the condition of your tunica is fragile, early activation is inadvisable. Trust in the experience and expertise of your surgeon is important.#3- when should i start trying to cycle the implant? Some literature states immediately once swelling goes down and some states not to for 4-6 weeks post op?

Thanks again guys, hearing it from people who have already experienced it is a great help!

My surgeon only told me to go home and heal. I went back six weeks after my implant surgery and started learning about my new cock. Here I am nine months later loving my new boy toy! I was not told much of anything up front but everything works beautifully and have no complaints whatsoever! Learned to inflate very quickly. Learned to use my new toy very quickly as well. It seems every surgeon has their own philosophy.
