Day 13 of implant

Postby flguy621 » Sun Nov 01, 2020 3:37 am

Implanted with LGX 21 cm on 10/19/20 and scrotum is still very swollen. There’s really not too much pain anymore, but more a feeling of being very uncomfortable when sitting and walking with this big swollen sack between my legs. How do you guys handle it and how long does the swelling last. I’ve been icing and wearing a jock for support; would I be better off going commando? How much longer should I be icing?

It takes a bit of time. I was implanted with the LGX 21 cm on Oct 14, 2020. The swelling is now almost gone. The scrotal incision is healing well, but it is a bit swollen. There is no redness around the incision and no discharge of liquids. It is just the body working to heal it. I saw huge improvement mostly in the last few days. I can even now feel the pump profile and deflation button with no much guessing. I do believe that you will get much better over this week. I was feeling very anxious a week ago too. I made similar questions to my doctor. He reassured that everything was healing extremely well. It has been indeed.
I wish you a continued smooth recovery. Stay well!

It’s different for everyone - hope it continues smoothly !

I’ve had a total of 4 surgeries related to my current implant - the last one was done in July of this year - fully healed -

The first one - wrapped daily for about 3 weeks - tons of pain - all the swelling down In about a month -

this go around I chose not to wear underwear and just kept bandages wear needed on open wounds and it healed very quickly! I would say 2 weeks total-

Best of luck to you !!

I am now 8 weeks post op. At 6 weeks, I had appt with my URO and he explained that I was still swollen "on the inside". So, even after your sac calms down, the inside could still be swollen. At day 18, I was cleared to start doing hot baths. Swelling will come and go with physical activity. From what I have read here, I could be one of the longest healers. I have been concentrating on trying to deflate. It's a journey.

Same here, saw the doc for 1 week checkup and he said the swelling is inside. He didn’t say anything about hot baths, just showers for now. I’m supposed to be pulling down the pump, but with the selling I can grab it but that’s about it. I see him in 4 weeks to start cycling. I’ll see how that goes.

Fly, one other thing. I couldn't do the jock strap thing. Too uncomfortable. I found some underwear at Walmart called AND1. Game changer!!

Had my AMS 700LGX put in on Oct 20th. I made sure i stayed walking around constantly, only stopping to ice and sleep. Because of that i was pain and swelling free about 4 days ago, i can perfectly fee my pump and deflation block and button and im able to move the pump to more of a comfortable position instead of between my left thigh and left testicle, it does migrate back to that spot but with sleeping with a ball of socks between my thigh and left testicle it forces the pump closer to the front with a little less migration. My scrotal incision is healed and looks good, i will still keep polytopic and gauze on it for another week or so until the last of the dissolvable stitches falls out. I was very surprised, im now a show-er with about 5" length from my pubic bone, i was worried because the skin on my shaft is all numb, i was horny and 100% deflated which is how the surgeon left me im able to gently masturbate and the orgasm seems to be more powerful than before i had the surgery. Ill be starting to cycle my implant in about 2 weeks. Good luck!

I stayed horizontal for most of the first three weeks after implant surgery. I was fortunate enough to have a girlfriend who took care of my needs, so I did not have to get up to cook, etc and I had enough leave time from work to take it easy for 3 weeks. I could have gone back to work earlier, but planned for the worst case scenario and requested 3 weeks and after 10 days or so, decided to just make a vacation of it.

In my best, considered opinion, staying horizontal for the first few days REALLY helped minimize the swelling and speeded my recovery time.

I know my post here is too late to help you very much, but maybe someone else about to have the surgery (any surgery, in fact) or just going home will be helped.
