First Injection annddd Nuthin’

Fortunately, I was flying solo while the wife was at work so I wanted to try my first injection without any pressure, worrying about pain, etc.

Lack of pain from the needle was a pleasant surprise, but I think I went too low, i.e. like 4 or 5 o’clock vs 3 o’clock. There was some discomfort when I started pushing the plunger. Also, no reaction whatsoever....not a bit. Did the recommended 10 units.

Did your doctor do a trial injection and demonstration with you in his office? He should have. Have you watched any demonstrations of injection videos? I would be wildly guessing if I tried to explain the failure. If you had NO plumping or thickening at all I'm going to guess you missed. However you may need a much higher dose or even a stronger mix.

I'm going to suggest you bump up the dose only one notch and try again, trying to do a better job injecting. I can send you a link to my very amateur injection video if you want but it would be later when my power hopefully comes back on. Unfortunately I haven't got much feedback from others I've sent the video link to so I really don't know if it has been helpful to anyone. Let me know. Also, there have been many older posts from several members that have good injection techniques they've shared. Be sure to read many of them.

Sounds like you did not get it in the corpus cavernosum. Got to get that 2/3 o'clock position. I have essential tremors and have some difficulty depending on the day and severity of tremors. Had wife do an injection yesterday and it was right on the money (pleasant surprise) no needle stick, no pain or soreness etc. Good luck!

An actual real life video would be great. I’ve been using my Google medical degree to research as much as I can, but all the videos I’ve seen are some doctor on a model. Guess what, if I could detach my dick from my body then it’d be easy for me too.

The pain on injection, I’m not sure if it’s because I missed or because my Trimix was still cold. One vial went in the freezer, the other the fridge to thaw. I got my syringe ready and let it sit out for a few minutes, but how long is long enough to get Trimix up to room temp?

I'm starting to increase doses of tri-mix to get the desired effect. Tonight I"ll inject 20 units.

And important thing about tri-mix. The strengths and dosages are not standardized. The blend I'm using is Papaverine 22mg/ml, Phenteramine 0.8 mg/ml, Alprostadil 8 mcg/ ml. This is a low concentration starter mix.

As you adjust the dosage (slowly and over time) you will probably hit the right dosage for the blend you are using.

The initial instructions that came from my uro included the words "initial doses are often disappointing." You need to adjust the dose up according to your doctors orders to find what's right for you.
