If possible consider getting a "lie flat" seat on your return flight. The seat goes completely flat and 6' long so it's actually very comfortable and easy to sleep. I had that on my 3 hour return flight and slept the entire time. I think Business Class usually has this option. Credit to @Tangerine for this great suggestion.

Thanks again for your suggestion warren. I'll use a delta flight to come back and i noticed that my options are classic seat, seat with extra space for the legs and something similar to a bed, that's probably the "lie flat" seat that you mean, but the extra for that is really expensive, like 600$ more. I will think about that, if I will still get sore I'll surely spend the extra money to have more comfort.

I think you're flying to Europe. Don't be afraid to put your bottle of pain pills into your shirt pocket or maybe a small carry on bag. As far as I know, as long as the bottle is original with your name on it. The US authorities won't bother you at all. If the pain starts up. Don't be afraid to take 1/2 of a pill. The crew should give you a small drink if you explain that you need to take your medicine.
Best of luck & keep in touch with us.

Thanks Gt. Yes, I will fly to Italy. I will have to bring with me on the plane both pain medicines and antibiotics since the flight will be more than 8 hours. Fortunately I have bottles with my name and address on it and I also have the doctor prescriptions scanned copies on my phone.

Steve,

Which clinic have you used for COVID testing?
I can't find the one they request 'Go Health' located 176 East 77th Street, seems like it does not exist :D

Cheers!

Today after a bath i noticed that the glue that the doctor used on the cut is detaching as expected. Anyway the skin behind is more red like it's peeled.
I immediately wrote to the doctor that told me to avoid inflating for another couple of days to make it heal but to continue the hot baths.
My biggest fear here is about infections. I attach s pic please tell me what do you think about it, thanks.

I had the same issue after about 8-9 days where the Dermabond fell off after a shower and the incision continually wept fluid into my underwear. I contacted my doctor at that time, and he said to keep it clean and he would look at it on my 2 week visit (15 days post-op). I kept synthetic gauze pads on it, taped on with 3M NexTape (foam tape), but he said I didn't necessarily need to cover it, only to keep it clean. He said on my followup that it looked fine and nothing to worry about.

pretty much all incisions will weep somewhat, that is normal. yours looks fine, just dry it off well after bathing.
