Libido is a separate issue but yeah it’s been helped by having on demand erections.

As for tell / not tell dilemma - as other guys have said on the site there is always a chance the person your sleeping with will feel your pump - however it’s also possible that you could sleep with someone and they wouldn’t. Personally I think it’s easier to just say what the pump is but that’s down to personal preference - most answers on this site reflect this.

Respect for being so brave to tell upfront. But aren't you afraid she/he will tell and your secret is the new local gossip?

hopeful_future wrote:This was one of the biggest concerns for me when I first started researching, and as far as I could tell, people do fine. I also asked my doc (specifically calling out deadlifts and other powerlifting) and he said he didn't have any concerns. Not sure what sort of lifting you're talking about though. Since I think implants make you stick out a bit more, you might want to be careful with cleans as the bar whips past your crotch.

Haven't had anyone answer definitively about "heavy" weights...If anyone who is reading this does squats/deadlifts/bench in the 200-400lb range, got any experience to share?

I've been 5*5 of:
Deadlifts @ 400 lbs/180 kg
Bench press @245 lbs/110 kg
Barbell bent over rows @ 230 lbs/105 kg
Weighted chins @ 70 lbs/31.5 kg added weight
Weighted dips @ 80 lbs/36 kg added weight

Don't like heavy squats, so have been doing them for higher reps
12 reps at 310 lbs/140 kg.

"Heavy weights" is relative. Some guys warm up at my weights. But at least it is in the range you asked about.

I have had no problems at all. When I got back to lifting a couple of months after implant I remember deadlifts was the only issue. Took me another 1-2 months to feel comfortable with deadlifts vs squats. Which is strange, but maybe because I use heavier weight. Don't know.
Anyway, eventually all lifts feel ok, no problem at all.

Only issue, as someone mentioned, is lifts where you might bump the bar into your dick. Power cleans for example.
That can hurt. You need to make sure your technique is adjusted to avoid smashing in to your dick. At least in my case, it is bigger and a bit more sensitive for pokes than before...

You don't have to say it is a pump for your penis. Say it is leftover from a surgery. Still honest, still truthful.

I work out I lift heavy weights and do all types of abdominal and core exercises and they do not bother me at all. I think the only thing that bothers me sometimes is the bulge that I have in my gym pants!

Due to my inguinal hernias on both sides, I am not doing weight lifting anymore. Also, what I am worried about is the reservoir. Many posts here speak about its relocation. Muscle movements may cause the reservoir to move around. Are there any studies/facts that support or rule out this?

A little research and expert advice would help;

I avoided the gym for about 2 years but not because it might hurt my implant. It was the new implant look that held me back. Now that my cylinders have completely softened I'm good to go again. No longer looks like I'm having an erection. Just well hung which is pretty natural.

You'll be good to go. I was 3 times a week gym for last year or two, now a while after implant I'm 5 times a week, added another day for stairmaster/more abs stuff. No issues whatsoever. One abs machine kinda feels weird cause my dick/balls kinda have their own place on the seat now lol, but nothing hurts. No need for you to worry.

I'm pretty sure that depends on your surgeon. Some guys penoscrotal just barely stuff it in. Mine was placed infrapubic and is a flat conceal reservoir. No chance of moving
