Yes, it was an approved ED treatment in Europe but I wouldn't call the results 'poor' and here's why.

Having the right treatment is not enough, you must use it properly. I'm convinced that most users of Uprima didn't know how to take it and swallowed the tablets. You don't swallow these tablets, you have to keep them under the tongue until they dissolve.

Finally, apomorphine is a centrally acting drug that improves dopamine levels in the brain. This makes it perfect for cases of psychogenic ED or sexual performance anxiety but it's probably not the best option for vasculogenic ED (unless you take it in combination with other drugs).

I am sure that the patients knew that the pill should be kept under the tongue. I don't know how much it was used as a combo with other treatments. But the fact is that it is not available anymore and nobody wants it back. I have never seen any positive feedback of it.
65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

There are many studies that show its efficacy and safety, there's no reason why apomorphine shouldn't be widely available. Even today, there are several online pharmacies that sell it (I've mentioned three of them on this thread), we should spread the word because this stuff really works and it is another weapon in our fight against ED.

Sounds like a very good adjunct to PDE5 inhibitor therapy Flavio. One of the reasons Trimix or Bimix injections work so well is that they are working on more than one pathway.
Using Apomorphine with a PDE5i is doing a similar thing albeit just not as strong as the injections, which are the next step up in intensity.

In theory yes but last night I tried the 'big three' combination (avanafil + oral phentolamine + apomorphine SL) and I'm afraid it was disappointing.

My erection was good but not nearly as good as it used to be. And, for the first time ever, manual stimulation was necessary for me to get erect. Usually, just looking at my girlfriend's naked body is more than enough to get a hard erection but not this time.

I didn't feel as aroused as I normally do, I felt somewhat sedated and this could be related to apormophine. I remember I tried cabergoline a few years ago and I had a similar negative experience.

Hypotension was the worst part. I felt no dizziness when I tried apomorphine on its own but it was too much when combined the other two drugs. Again, this same thing happened with cabergoline :(

I can't stress this enough: combination therapy increases efficacy but it also increases the risk of side effects. Always consult your urologist before you decide to try any new treatment or supplement.

I'm confused, I don't know what to do next. I had high hopes for apomorphine and this new regimen, now I'm not so sure. Or maybe I'm overreacting? I'd love to know if anyone has tried the apomorphine tablets from The ED Clinic. So far, I've had little luck with centrally acting drugs (apomorphine, cabergoline).

Great question, I don't know.

I know this was a controversial thread but I've decided to revive it.

Two FACTS that are NOT controversial:

a) Apomorphine is a legitimate ED drug, there are countless studies that prove it and it was an approved ED treatment in Europe (not in the US, though).

b) Apomorphine is, however, less effective than Viagra and other meds and not everyone responds to this treatment.

So, here's what happened.

I still have some sublingual troches from The ED Clinic and yesterday I decided to give apomorphine another try.

I was feeling a bit depressed (for family reasons, nothing to do with sex), so I thought that maybe this dopaminergic drug could improve both mood and erections. Dopamine is the wonderful hormone that promotes happiness and erections.

I masturbated with and without apomorphine and my erection was much better under the effect of apomorphine (although not as good as under the effect of a PDE-5 inhibitor). I didn't add a PDE-5 inhibitor this time but I added Seredyn, no side effects to report.

The reason why I quit apomorphine was because I couldn't combine it with a PDE-5 inhibitor + phentolamine, side effects were unbearable in my case (hypotension, dizziness, nausea). But MAYBE another combination could prove more successful.

I now have four or five excellent solutions for psychogenic ED (PDE-5 inhibitor, apomorphine, oral phentolamine, Seredyn and probably Impaza), maybe I just need to find the right combination.

PDE-5 inhibitor + apomorphine + oral phentolamine did NOT work for me AT ALL and I do not recommend it to anyone but maybe another one will:

PDE-5 inhibitor + apomorphine + Seredyn?

PDE-5 inhibitor + apomorphine + Seredyn + Impaza?

PDE-5 inhibitor + apomorphine + Impaza?

Oral phentolamine is effective but it is an old drug and seems to be the worst when it comes to side effects. Seredyn is just a natural supplement for anxiety and is clearly the safest of the lot.

Again, I'm not endorsing or recommending anything, this is just speculation based on my readings and personal experience. Everyone is different and reactions vary a lot.

There are countless studies that validate combination therapy but extra precautions are needed. Combination may improve efficacy but it may also worsen side effects. Always consult your doctor (urologist) before you decide to try any new treatment or combination.

Today I tried the combination apomorphine + udenafil + Seredyn.

The erection was good but side effects were unbearable: extreme dizziness and, for the first time ever, facial flushing. I didn't even add phentolamine this time.

I get no side effects if I take these drugs on their own but I do get side effects when I combine them.

Like I always said, combination may improve efficacy but it may also worsen side effects.

Another conclusion: the sublingual troches from The ED Clinic are much more resistant and durable and than they seem. After all these months, they obviously still work.
