Jato1229 wrote:So I went into big detail just now about my problem and somehow it got deleted and didn’t post so I’m gonna make a long story short. I have very very bad Peroni‘s disease 90° upward curve. I had several injections which only caused a ton of pain and made the injection site purple. I also had graft surgery about a year and a half ago which made my problem even worse. I lost about 70% of my sensitivity. So I decided to call Dr Kramer only to find out he no longer works in that office and managed to get a new email which he responded and said he will be open in about six weeks that was two weeks ago. My question is should I wait for him or should I look elsewhere. I live in New Jersey. Sorry about the penmanship, talk to text and I was being called as I was texting .

I am one of those guys that had Peyronies with a 90 degree bend straight upward. Similar to yours but closer to the middle of the shaft. I also had the “hourglass” disfiguation. I did not have the injections because my Dr told me there was very little chance it would help, and they were painful. I’m sure you already know that.

In my case I did not want to believe there wasn’t some other way to “cure” the disease so I tried everything I read or heard. I had a drawer full of Internet solutions (pills, creams etc) which were absolutely a wasted effort. I went to two other Urologist which were also unable to help or tell me what I was hoping for...a miracle cure. I decided to go back to my original Dr. His solution was an implant.

I struggled with the reality and stressed over the thought that an implant was my only real option. My Dr took a good deal of time explaining what to expect and gave me a few web sites to look at so I would know exactly what I was in for. I also found that Peyronies was also going to affect length and girth; so I knew further procrastination would cause additional damage. I had that surgery in May 2018. While in the recovery room my Dr told me that 90 degree bend was now only about 30-40 degrees and I was not to touch or use the implant until I returned for my follow up visit. Given I was already scared to death I followed his instructions to a “T”.

Once cleared I cycled daily. There was some discomfort but in just a few months I can not find the slightest evidence of Peyronies. I also regained the majority of the size I had lost. I know there are a lot of men on this site that are particular about what implant they want. I told my Dr to make the selection as if he were selecting it for himself.

Pick a Dr you are comfortable with. Write down any questions you have and take them to that Dr. Be proactive in your case. Good luck and if I can answer any of your questions please feel free to ask.

Jato1229, Andy has written a very good & honest post describing what you can expect. He is very correct in that lots of men drag their heels to get the correct treatment. All of us want to believe that there just has to be a pill or cream that will fix what ails us. We just need to find it.
I forget where I read it, but it was from an authoritative source. An implant is the gold standard for peyronies treatment. Coloplast Titan & the AMS CX model are the recommended ones to use. If after a few years you need a revision for whatever reason. The AMS LGX700 is acceptable to use after the peyronies is corrected.
Please remember that you have nothing to gain by delaying treatment. In fact, as Andy states. You are at risk of losing length & girth.
Stay in touch with the forum. Ask questions. You are not alone in your plight. Lots of members have walked this path before. Very best of luck to you.

What is that thing in your penis on the last picture? Looks weird.

You should be doing traction. Particularly try the RestoreX device. It might help enough to straighten the penis. Particularly if you can still get strong erections.

Personally, i'd recommend 60-90min with RestoreX and 4-6hrs with Penimaster Pro - or other vacuum based traction device.

Best.

Luis, that looks like a fresh circumcision scar. Since Jato just had graft surgery last year, they no doubt did a circumcision incision and degloving for the surgery and may have even performed a circumcision as well if he was previously uncircumcised.

That is my graft surgery healing/scar. I been trying the restoreX but it seems the plaque is to Dense and hard. Dr who did graft surgery told me that. I did wait way way to long. Like I said I lost 3in in length and major girth and a lot of sensitivity.

One of the guys in above post said that if you delay getting an implant you may lose length and girth. I did lose both length and girth in my penis. I couldn't believe what was happening. I delayed my surgery for a few months because of the birth of my Grandaughter. I didn't want anything to take away from that joyous occasion. I would not recommend delaying getting treatment not one day if you can help it. Wish I had not delay mine.

In the 15+ years I have been battling ED, my penis continued to shrink. At the onset I had a nice respectable 6.5 to 7" erection, with a girth of 5.5". As I worked my way through Viagra, VED, and injections, all of which worked somewhat but eventually failed completely, I was losing my dick. When Trimix was working (the last 2-3 years), I was down to 5 to 5.5 inches and about 4 to 4.5" girth. Time is our enemy.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

You have time to start Vacuum Erection Device (VED) therapy to restore lost size. Results vary among men, but there is strong evidence that applying vacuum to erect state a minute at a time to stretch penile tissues and flush blood through your tissues, alternating with release of the vacuum to a flaccid state (about a minute per cycle) for 30 minutes twice a day can restore recently lost size and hold atrophy at bay. 60 day minimum is recommended by one scholarly journal, but I used mine for over a year.

VED tools are not that expensive and may be covered by insurance. Even "novelty store" sex shop VEDs can apply vacuum as well as medical grade ones. A vacuum is a vacuum.

For this type of therapy, constriction rings are not recommended. Just cycling between full erection and flaccid, but not so much as to cause edema.
