PT-141 Vs. Amorphine.. Which is Better?
PT-141 Vs. Amorphine.. Which is Better?
Hi guys.. for those who've had experiences with both pt-141 and amophine, which is better.. in terms of results, duration, orgasm, side effects, etc?
Re: PT-141 Vs. Amorphine.. Which is Better?
I never tried PT-141 but I hear great things about it. Apomorphine and cabergoline did more harm than good in my case: sedation, zero arousal, mediocre erection, side effects were unbearable when combined with a PDE-5 inhibitor.
I know I said good things about Zyprima (generic apomorphine from India) but I always used it in combination with Cialis and now I realise that the positive effects were probably due exclusively to Cialis.
More recently, I tried the apomorphine troches from theedclinic.com, which are high quality ED drugs but didn't work for me.
Everyone is different though and there are patients who respond well to these centrally acting drugs.

Hi flavio. Excuse my late reply. Ok I'm now extremely confused by your experiences with apomorphine. In your other thread you hailed it almost like a miracle drug. Seriously I really dont understand now that youve turned around to say its not working for you. I just cant get my head around this.

Apomorphine is an approved ED treatment but I never hailed it as a miracle drug and I always said it was a 2nd line treatment.
There was some improvement when I used it on its own but side effects were unbearable when I combined it with a PDE-5 inhibitor, so I had to quit.
Like I said, it didn't work for me but it may work for other patients. Consult your doctor if you think you're a good candidate for this treatment.

Flavio, can you help me understand how you got a prescription for the Apomorhphine? I know it didn't end up working for you, but I'd still like to try it. My Urologist won't give me a prescription though (I'm trying to get it from Woodland Hills Pharmacy, which you had previously recommended)

I've never used Woodland Hills Pharmacy but The ED Clinic provides an online consultation with their urologist.
Why won't your urologist give you a prescription?

He said he is not familiar with the drug and doesn't know anyone prescribing it - he also noted that about 22 years ago the FDA pulled it due to its side effects including patients passing out during intercourse.
Separately, I tried phentolamine yesterday with promising results (and limited to no side effects). I'm going to combine it with viagra next time.

Yes, that's absolutely right.
The first time I tried apomorphine there was some improvement and no side effects, so I wrongly assumed it would work sinergistically with a PDE-5 inhibitor. It didn't, side effects were very unpleasant and I almost passed out, just like your doctor said.

In my case, this worked much better. But, again, I know many guys that can't tolerate oral phentolamine.
I have always combined phentolamine + PDE-5 inhibitor for many years with excellent results but, again, there is the risk of increased side effects, esp. hypotension.
I strongly recommend you consult your doctor first and ask him about this combination. Don't even try it if you have heart problems. I also recommend you try it alone first, with smaller doses and see how it goes.
Tip: I keep some candy or soda at hand, just in case I feel dizzy.
