One week from implant. (Wish me luck!)

Postby WalterG3 » Mon Dec 21, 2020 7:19 pm

I am officially seven days from getting implanted by Dr. Larry Levine at Rush Hospital in Chicago. I’ve been an avid reader of FT for several months since I made the decision to become “bionic”, and I’m grateful for the humor, empathy and wisdom so many have shared. As I am able, I’ll keep everyone informed of my progress and my (hopefully) positive results.

Stay positive. Keep your reality that brought you to this point. Recover and Enjoy the life you so deserve.

With you everyday. Post when you're able. Every experience is unique. I learn something every day on FT.

Best of Luck.

Good luck and a speedy recovery.
You are lucky to have found FT before surgery so you know some of the story. I didn't find FT until 5 months after my implant.

Let me assure you the pain is worth it. 1 1/2 years post implant, 74, married 51 years. Once we got past the ageing vaginal issues (dryness), TWICE a week and she wants it pumped to 100%.
Do what your doctor says...implicitly!!! FOLLOW THE RULES!
A couple of days after the surgery, you'll look down at the stitches and the pretty purple penis, and wonder, What the f... did I just do. Well, it's over and you have now joined the "bionic brotherhood".
Please, your implant procedure has nothing to do with "luck", it's all about medicine and you following instructions... to the letter!
Stay safe, stay positive,
