I started using Trimix a few weeks ago. I see my girlfriend only about once a week, and it has been a bit of a rocky challenge. At first the dose was WAY too high, and I had to use the antidote shot that the clinic provided twice. Eventually I found a low enough dose, and had some really great sex twice. At our last encounter, we were in a hotel room with a large tub and jacuzzi. We both like the water very hot. We stayed in the tub as the water cooled, and got out after about 45 minutes. Immediately after getting out, I injected myself with the dose that previously provided me with a 2 - 3 hour erection. I *think* I injected it correctly (but I have to use a mirror to do it, I am still overweight and my belly obscures direct observation). Anyway, I felt the minor burn that I usually feel after the injection. Feeling pretty confident, I began to engage in on the order of 20 minutes of foreplay, and did not notice that my erection had not really appeared.
In short, the shot did not work at all. I injected about 1/3 of the way from abdomen and did my best to make it the 10:00 position. But nothing. We tried all sorts of stimulation (this woman is a saint in some ways, very kind and patient), but nothing worked.
My questions to this group:
1.) Could the hot bath have caused this? If so, how long should I wait after getting out to inject (we both want to do the jacuzzi again)? Or should I take a cold shower or something?
2.) Have others experienced injection "misses" like this? Any advice for the guy who has to try to inject by looking in the mirror?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer. I only had one shot with me this time, if it happens next time I might try a second shot, but I missed one other time, and then did a second shot back when I was playing with the dose, and that was the second time I had to use the antidote shot because it seems like when the second shot took effect, the first one did too, and the erection lasted too long...

Just my guess at best but I think you probably had what I call a miss fire. It happens sometimes. Keep trying. You will get it right. I have had the same failures but not with hot water.

Paul M...
I have been injecting for 2 years... and the "burn" you felt reminds me of the time I injected too shallow, spreading the trimix around just barely under the skin. If that was the case, it never go a chance to work on the cavernosum. You may have injected in the right spot but did not push the needle all the way in (to reach the right target).
When I had that insident, it left a bruise that lasted a couple days. That would be the signal that you did not go deep enough.

Make sure you using a 1/2" inch needle. Also have your Gf stimulate you a little to increase the penis size to give a better target especially if you small in the flaccid state. .Also have her rub it in after you inject. That helps

You should encounter some resistance once you reach tunica wall, but once it is pierced, you should feel the needle slide in with no resistance. Also, if you encounter resistance when you depress the plunger, you are not in the CC. Try pushing it in harder or find another site.
If I feel that i have missed the target - no or minimal results, I usually try a second injection.
