Peeing

Postby StillConsidering » Thu Jan 07, 2021 2:45 pm

Ok, I've just established an account though I think I've read every post over the past year. It's a big decision after all. So one thing I didn't see anywhere is the effect of an implant on urination. Specifically when pumped/erect. In the good old days with a hard-on you could not pee. With an implant is it the same? I.e. do you have to fully deflate until you're able to piss?

I just got my implant 9 days ago and the peeing is kind of brutal....It takes a long time to get started, but once started, it goes pretty good. The implant is probably 70% inflated so it's kind of odd peeing when your dick is sticking straight out....You can make a mess if not careful. :)

I can't answer your question from first hand experience other than this. If you deflate to pee it should be far easier to inflate again vs getting another erection after peeing. In my youth, an erection after peeing didn't compare at all to my piss hard on. I got feedback to this many times from my wife. She liked the piss erection.
It is my guess that with an implant. If you so desire, every erection can be a piss erection. If your partner likes a hard erection, I think you'll be a hero.
Btw, welcome to the forum. It is a good place. A bit rowdy at times but generally the info is pretty good. My advice is to get a signature line written. Your country is kind of important if not USA or Canada. Be carefull on some answers cause cancer survivors & men with Peyronies have slightly different problems & outcomes. I.E. their experiences may not reflect what is revelent to you.

The "Not able to pee" with an erection isn't due to the penis being erect. It's due to other physiology surrounding the mechanics of an erection. I'm not sure if it is the engorged spongiosum which surrounds the urethra or a reflex that affects the bladder sphincter in preparation for ejaculation, or both, or neither, but the inability to easily pee with an erection stems from the arousal surrounding the erection. Since the implant does not cause arousal, but rather just makes the penis hard, this isn't as much of an issue. Early on when the implant is breaking in there will be some adjustment period where even with it deflated you'll probably end up spraying the wall when peeing. I believe this is due to the tips of the implant that surround the urethra in the glans. Some men's anatomy may be less likely to cause the "spray" affect, if their meatus is situated more ventrally on the glans rather than centered or dorsally.

Really can't say I've tried to pee with my implant inflated. Deflated it is fine, but the first few months after implant if I stood to pee it was like a kids sprinkler, everywhere got wet. Still have occasional miss if I stand. Never had any issues in my life with urination but since the implant I do find sitting more comfortable, and of course mess free. I find I can empty my bladder better when sitting too, a good thing before bed so no middle of the night bathroom calls.

No problem peeing erect, just have to bend it down a little. Before my implant, I could not pee very well if at all with an erection.
