One of the uses of this forum IS FOR painful pondering. And for dispelling that pain.

Everything else is good advice to follow if that is your path.

In the meantime, do whatever you have to do to determine your best course of action, no matter how much pondering you need. Some may complain that this is tiresome to them, but I am sure it is not inordinately tiresome to a man suffering from E.D. (This is not to say the Merrix"s advice to (as the colloquialism says) "shit or get off the pot" is unwarranted; hesitation can be a vice as well as a virtue.) Stay and make use of FrankTalk for as long as you need.

I agree with you Sheep, that it would be best to use this resource as a young man. There seem to be a lot of factors at play here. It’s weird to me, because the implant seems like the safest long term option for a young person, but at the same time potentially the most damaging. If the implant were to fail you could NEVER come back from that. A lifetime of impotence with NO HOPE. BUT, on the other hand... a dysfunctional existing dick is entirely dysfunctional. It’s not like it’ll reverse itself with no changes. Back on the “nofap” train for me, again. Starting back today. Let’s see what happens if I can get a number of months under my belt here
. If your implant fails, you are not out of luck. You can get multiple revisions.

@oldbeek you're right but, as i said, i haven't got an insurance. Plus i'll have to have multiple revisions, and consider that:
- Every implant/revision costs 20,000$ out of pocket without the insurance; (the average salary in Italy is like 1200$)
- Every revision carries further risk of infection. So i'm really really scared about this point.

I have a question. Why is the warranty of the implant 20 years, and we all burn for at least 10 years of life with it? Shouldn't it last longer? And, if I'm 25 I certainly won't look for an implant to take my 10 years. And then? At 35? At 35 I will have many more women and opportunities than at 25? Then ? What if the implant fails after 5 years? And what actually gives the ending to everything? When does the moment come when nothing more can be done? When does an infection develop?

Just wanted to make sure that you are doing what you can to maintain balance in your life, which is important no matter what. As a younger man, I know how difficult it can be to put ED out of your mind and focus on other things, and not let the culture get to you, which has a tendency to make us believe that sex is the most important thing in the world, and that everyone else is out there having it all the time.

But you show some perspective and I commend your approach.

Thanks, brother. Appreciate your kind words. Do you have an implant? If so, how is it going? You seem to be a younger guy like myself

I do have an implant. I'm 16 days out from my revision surgery. I got my first, an AMS CX about five years ago when I was 29. It broke in october and now I have a Titan. Next week I can start inflating it.
