Why Can't I Orgasm or Ejaculate Now?
I'm so damn frustrated that after more than 8 months post-op I can't orgasm or ejaculate during sex, something I was able to do routinely before my IPP surgery. When my wife sucks my cock (and she's very good at it!), it feels pleasant but not close to the same feeling I used to have and it doesn't lead to orgasm/ejaculation. Neither does intercourse in any position we've done. I've tried all of the urethral gels, nasal spray and Cabergoline. None of it has worked and I'm out of things to try!! I'm able to orgasm/ejaculate from masturbation but it takes a lot of concentration and a long time, even while watching pornography that interests me. My surgeon doesn't know why this is happening to me and has stated that nothing occurred during surgery that would affect my ability to reach orgasm and ejaculation. If any of my Bionic Brothers have any ideas or positive experiences to share, I would be appreciative.
Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.

I cant offer help other than to let you know you are not alone. I have same issue. My wife has now closed the door on anything sexual. Sounds like your wife is very sexual......that is a big plus. I have heard others that say orgasm returns over time. I am hopeful that the 4th year is the charm. Good luck to you.

I have the same issue Barry. I have the AMS as well but the CX model. It was suggested that I do NOT inflate to 100% and see if that helped. It seems to help some but not every time if that makes sense to you. Might give it a try as it will not hurt.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: Why Can't I Orgasm or Ejaculate Now?
Barry,
I also have same issue as you but mine is not related to IPP.
I had prostate cancer at age of 51. Had RP 11/2016 (prostate was removed)
and after that I have total anorgasmia. In 4+ years post prostate removal, I experienced only few times (I am sure less then dozen) something that I could call mini orgasm 2-3 on scale 1-10.
And after prostate and seminal vesicles are gone, no more white stuff ( ejaculation) which my wife and I missed a lot.
But, I still love sex.......

Re: Why Can't I Orgasm or Ejaculate Now?
I’ve had the same problem, at first I though it was the change in feeling, somewhat the trauma of surgery, then as time went along I had change in my medication. Blaming at first the meds I continued to get close but not cross over to over orgasm I went to the provider that prescribed the medication when he told me it was possible but rare he encouraged me to stay on it a while longer as most minor side effects stop after awhile.
Then I went to blaming the implant for turning me into what I feared when I was told that I had mild Peyronie’s disease and with my ED the urologist asked if I had thought about an implant and at the time I said I’m too young for a permanent hard on, but in the back of my mind I thought great I’ll just be a flesh covered dildo. This was before I found this site and found out about and inflatable implants. I too tried different pressures to see if that helped.
Then I thought I’m not relaxing and enjoying sex I’m worried about the end not the journey.
I’m getting better at relaxing and letting things happen still don’t cum ever time.
So I’m beginning to think in my case it’s a mental thing after first was years of ED partial to complete then Peyronie’s disease I developed a mind set of not being able to cum. I got to focused on the act and not enjoying it. I talked again to my primary care who agreed it was possibly as well as my psychiatrist.
My advice is just try and relax try and just focus on the feelings the closeness to your partner and maybe like in my case talk to a therapist
Like I said I’m getting better on the ending but enjoying the journey more

Do you overall feel a reduction in sensitivity? I am curious if the dr somehow hit your dorsal (?) nerve which affects your glans sensitivity.

Re: Why Can't I Orgasm or Ejaculate Now?
I had the same issue, and only recently it's gotten better. I was implanted back in June. For me, the pain at the glans from being fully inflated was overriding any pleasurable feelings I was getting around my glans. My sensitivity is still down from what I had there pre-implant. I'm hoping it will continue to improve though.
50 yrs old. E.D. issues started around age 35, combo venous leak/testicular failure. Bilateral testicular implants for severely atrophic testes. Implanted 6/11/20 Dr. Kramer LGX 21cm + 1.

Re: Why Can't I Orgasm or Ejaculate Now?
Thanks to all of you guys who have posted so far on this topic. I certainly empathize with those of you who are having this problem. I clearly don't have anything even close to the degree of sensitivity now that I had before the implant. I would consider my psychologist's opinion that my inability to climax could be due to a subconscious unresolved issue with my wife, except that I don't have a subconscious unresolved issue with MYSELF that makes orgasm by masturbation extremely difficult! I've played around with different amounts of inflation as andy1955 suggested. I do feel a bit more sensitivity with less inflation but not enough to overcome my anorgasmia. To lift a phrase from Questar's post, I feel like a flesh covered dildo!! Hopefully there will be posts from guys who have dealt with this problem successfully and will share how they did it.

Re: Why Can't I Orgasm or Ejaculate Now?
I've struggled on and off with this issue. My take on it and advice from personal experience:
- Hormonal balance: I'm on TRT, if I have too much Testosterone, too much estrogen, too little estrogen (if I use estrogen blocker); I'm doomed and I could go days without ejaculation. If I got the right hormonal balance, I'm horny like hell and I could ejaculate quite handily.
- Porn and Masturbation: trust me on this one, don't ever watch porn or touch your penis except to pee or to wash it. The penis is intended to be either in her mouth or her pussy, not in your hand. The road to recover from Porn and Masturbation addiction is about 6 month long and you'll get flat lines along the way, once you are out of it, with the right hormonal balance, you'll have a hell of a sensitive penis and you'll cum in no time. There are many credible resources on this topic.
- Healthy diet and exercise: stay away from processed food and junk. Eat food that you see the ingredients. Exercise, even a walk every day is sufficient.
- Social Media and Video game addiction: stay away from Social Media and video games, these will destroy your pleasure as it alters the pathways in your brain. Once your pathways are altered, your brain would not connect properly to your penis and sensitivity will suffer.
- Good sleep: it feeds back into hormonal balance and less stress.
Good luck

That good sleep thing may be it. I am Horney as hell when I wake up. 2 yers out, I can get orgasms if the wife will pump me a little. She recently gave me a blow job and I came 3 times in a row. But it does take a lot more consentration.
