Thanks for updating. Even though there are lots of Journal posts on here, everyone is different. Different issues, recoveries and feelings about each step of the process.

Please post as you feel the need.

Yep, I swore the doc must have beat me with a baseball bat. At my 4 week follow up visit, he said I was still too swollen. The walls of the scrotum were thick and swollen. He scheduled to come back in 2 additional weeks. I would say the first 2 months, I was in the oh no, what have I done mindset. Then I was finally able to pump. Now, trying to find the deflate button was miserable. Until someone on here told me that you have be VIGOROUS about pushing the deflate button. Now, I pump 30-40 pumps every night. No problem deflating. Practice practice practice. Its really cool to get a stiffy whenever and for as long as you want. Patience now grasshopper.

Ugh--patience, patience. But it is a journey and we are all supporting each other. Thanks.

I believe that I am doing very well. The swelling is mostly gone and the bruising is subsiding. Remember, I had three procedures so I expected a bit more swelling and bruising than normal. Unfortunately , my first follow-up is not until March 9th, but I hope I will get cleared to begin cycling at that point. I have having some issues with the partially inflated cylinders moving around near the head of my penis which causes some pain. I almost wish they were a bit more inflated so they would stay in place better. I am contacting my MD about that today. All-in-all, this is exciting and I still fully believe the end result is going to be far better than where I began and I am hopeful that you will also have a good experience.

As a follow-up--my doctor had me come by today to look at the situation with the cylinders and decided to pump me three times to make it stronger. He was amazed that I was not in agony as he pumped me and to my great excitement promised that he would deflate me at my scheduled appointment on the 9th and let me start cycling! Yay! The three pumps he added have done the trick--I am no longer getting the bend in the upper right cylinder although I am still adjusting to the increased pressure.

3 pumps made the difference. Partly inflated is much better as long as you can tolerate it. I believe I was about 50% inflated. Never asked the doctor about that.

Well, in reality, I have gone from partly inflated to a little more inflated. On the spectrum of inflation, I do not know where I am, but I am guessing (hoping) it is about 50 percent. I'm missing some length and a lot of girth. I can't wait to start cycling and see the range. As it was, the right cylinder was bending near the tip and causing pain along the side of my penis. The additional pumps made it stiffer.

Continuing to comment on the journey. I am in that in-between time waiting to transition from fulltime semi-erection to cycling. I have to admit--it is a lot harder than I thought it would be to have the semi-erection. Keeping it under control in my work pants requires compression shorts and a jock. It seems without both there is too much movement which causes pain. I am definitely noticing the additional pumps that my doctor gave me and I hope that will make the cycling process work faster. I have definitely lost length, but since I have not fully pumped yet I cannot tell about the girth. I am hanging on the promise my doctor made to me that we would deflate on the 9th! It is only another week away. I have identified all of the parts of the pump and can access them. My only little observation is that my doctor forgot that I am left handed and the deflate button is definitely positioned for my right thumb to access. Still--I am very excited and it is a process. One day at a time!
