What's too much Trimix dosage

Postby bklynbob » Thu Dec 20, 2012 6:10 pm

I have tried 65 units of Trimix with disappointing results. How big a dose have you used? I'm only interested in dosages over 65 units in a 100 unit syringe. I realize the cost is going to be high but I want to see what works.
I could not find out what the mixture is.

My doc actually wanted me to start with 100 units, but I did not because of all the stories I read about on the forums......I worked my way up to 50 units and which worked well for some time and then was able to start backing it down as my rehab started to kick in...now, 25 units works well.

Just work your way up increasing small amounts until it works for you...seems like 100 units is not out of the question for some guy's.

Good luck, let us know what ends up working for you.

Happy Holidays !!!!

You might also want some input from your urologist and your pharmacist. Don't hesitate to ask them questions. I have found both to be great sources of information.

I asked my Uro and said that it was going to get "Price prohibitive."

I was paying $80 for 500 units (5ml) so a 100 unit shot would cost $16 a shot. Hopefully, you have insurance that will cover it.

I'm going to have to check on the size of the vile. It's all covered with the label so I can;t determine how much I got. I was probably limited to 5 injections per month; but the dosage was started at 10 units. If calculated from 100 units the vile would be bigger. I'm only taking a gues about how many shots a month my plan allows; but I think it's 5 for Viagra.
Thanks for the replies and have a good holiday.

Bidy,

As far a how may shots 'you are allowed' with Trimix... that's the great thing about it -- you can have as many shots as you can get out of the monthly prescription. But if you are getting towards 100u per shot then, yes you are going to be 'limited to 5 per month with a 5 ml vial'. Better than nothing but going 15 times a month would be a 3 times the fun.

You are right when it comes to Viagra ... they limit those to miserly amounts -- mostly because the Big Three pills now cost so much each -- they have doubled in price over the last year or two as the makers try to wring as much profit out of them as they can before they go off patent and generics are allowed to take over. But there's always India suppliers!

Good luck with your Trimix -- and yes try to find out the strength .. it goes 5 .. 10 ..15 ..20 and on up to at least 50mcg/ml PGE-1 (the main ingredient) ... the stronger the strengh the less you use and more shots and cheaper etc etc.

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.

Same here--every other day. However, I asked him how dangerous it was to shoot up on consecutive days. Since I use such a small dosage, 2-3 units a pop, he said it was not an issue now and then.
