Day 03

Back from Post Op Appointment #1 of 3. First up, tape/gauze removal. Glad I shaved every hair on my torso. Would of been a free wax job otherwise. Catheter removal was easy with the Fr 14 catheter. Slipped out, no problem. Next up was the drain. Couple of snips, done. 15 mins waiting for the Doc.

What have I done to my best Friend? Damn....

Even with the compression and icing, swollen. I didn't take a picture. Should have cause the Doc came in and announced how awesome I looked and proceeded to deflate Ol' Snake Eyes. Done for today. Got the Op Report and asked to change the 10 week wait for activation. He checked and moved it up to week 6. Cautioned I might not be ready, based on incision healing, so kept the week 9 visit on the calendar.

Summary: Doc happy with outcome. Go Play with my Third Eye. Take a shower. Hit the Hot Tub when healed. Activate in week 6.

Pix and thoughts. PreOp I had a 15 degree right curve with an indentation mid shaft on the right. Scar Tissue. Current flaccid has a 20 or 25 degree curve to the left with a "band" bulge on the right where the indentation was...

Realizing there is swelling everywhere (fat pad, shaft, scrotum) does anyone have input as to what happens after the swelling recedes? Maybe someone has been through this before. When the bandages came off, dick was straight at 75% inflation (number from Op Report). Is it possible this resolves with just the swelling gone?

AMS 700 CX 18cm 3cm RTE, Reservoir 100cc saline, Left inguinal Space via Scrotal incision.

Thoughts? Yes, I have a call into Docs office.

I did not have a curve or other problems other than ED prior to surgery but my understanding is that the CX and the Titan are the best for straightening them.

Day 04

What a difference a day makes. Hot shower, lock penis straight up with Jockstrap, stay horizontal and continue Ice. curve straightening out, fat pad is 3 times pre-surgery, swelling. I elected to go with the Dorsal Phalloplasty.

The pubic fat pad just above the shaft has been pulled down and anchored by sutures to a lower level of tissue. Can't remember the name of that level. Due to swelling, penis looks like it's in a barrel. The BBB. Bionic Bazooka Barrel. Can't wait for Live Fire training.

Follow Drs. instructions, Patience and have Faith in the process.

Day 05

Full nights sleep and zero incontinence. First time in 4 years. There is published data about implants helping but the effect doesn't last long. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I much as I couldn't believe it would be possible to "work the pump around" as directed by Doc at my Post Op #1 visit 2 days ago, there I was this morning. Trying to discover my new normal and slide the Puck around. What I have is a hard "baseball" for a scrotum. L nut, pump, R nut with no area or room to play. I spent an hour, off and on, touching, squeezing (softly) trying to pull the pump down. My Boyz both vacated the sack, leaving a pump that feels upside down. The bottom of the pump is pointed up (or out). Can feel the "block" and deflate button. No tubes. Strange. Is that possible? Tried many times to flip the pump over. No luck. As it is only Day 5, I stopped before pain started. More swelling to resolve and maybe things will Right themselves. Maybe this is how the pump is placed in small scrotums? Any experience with the pump facing bottom up or bottom forwards?

I mentioned Sac size on my first Doc visit. Was told no problem. I'll move things around as possible and wait for Day 10 Hot Tub to stretch it out. If the Pump was not in an OK position last Monday, I'm sure Doc would have reacted.

I was told to Ice for 5 days. Anyone icing for a longer term? Using Hot and Cold therapy at the same time?

Another positive day with no pain. Very Lucky. This afternoon I got a great "I'm OK" feeling.
Lots of time talking with wife over expectations going forward. for both of us. Trying to work this out. Guess life got Real.

No Pain. Popped the valve both ways. Did not inflate it. Don't won't to F up things. Day 15 pix below. Still lots of swelling in the Nut Bag and Fat Pad. All is well. Can't believe Ibuprofen is handling things.
