I've talked to some guys and even a psychologist, but I still have some worries about this decision. Damn. :|

How ironic: if my situation were worse, probably I wouldn't be worrying that much right now and would have certainty about the decision.

I want to get my length, girth, shape, and straightness back, but at the same time I'm worried about possible bad outcomes and having an implant inside a corpora cavernosa that is healthy.

Maybe my worry is nonsense. I can't do much with my penis the way it is now. I need to go slow and avoid some positions. But I still can have sex, albeit not much satisfactory and a bit painful. Thrusting hard, something I like to do, is impossible nowadays.

I'm doing more VED these days and it's increasing the number of erections I have, so this makes me question, even more, my scheduled surgery. ARRGGGGH

"Peyronie keeps advancing each month"

Enough said. At what point do you say, I want this fixed and surgery can not fix you?

I was on Trimix. No doubt to me that Tri-mix caused a 15-20 degree curve to the right. I understand you're not Injecting currently. But, to me, it's only a matter of time.

Sure, you can limp along. I don't down grade anyone trying to hold on to what is Natural. But... At some point, you'll have to accept what Life has handed you. It took 9 years for me to acknowledge I needed to move on to the next step, Implant. I don't feel Bad in delaying my decision. Disappointed in my choice. I lost a lot of my prime sexual years to my delay. Looking back, I could've had years of 100% hard erections without Pill/injection failures. Failures that made me feel less of a man. Failures that dissolved the life bond with my wife. Drifting away.

Take time to make a decision. Don't take 9 years.

Simple answer is you will be ready when you are. I would have had mine the day my bruises went away after my fall on that 2 by 8. I was black and blue from my crotch to my knees.

I would not have spent one day with ed and peyronies. It just got worse and worse as time went by.

I am just lucky I am close to my pre ed size after almost 4 years since my fall. The sooner the better would have been right for me.

My doctor told me that an inflatable penile prosthesis is the *GOLD STANDARD* to cure/resolve Peyronie's Disease deformity. Even my insurance company's own policies state as much, approving the use of IPP implantation to correct PD, stating it's the best choice for correcting both curvature and hour-glass narrowing caused by PD. I've seen the same information mentioned by multiple medical papers and studies I've read online.

If the OP is experiencing progressively worsening PD, the best possible way to correct it (so says my insurance and my urologist) is with the IPP implant.

If you and your partner feel good about their sexuality, I would not make such a drastic decision, I feel your problem in the flesh because I am younger than you and I fully understand that uncertainty generated by whether or not to have a penile implant ... (future reviews, costs, infections, failures) ... but if the sexuality of both is negative ... why think about the buts of the implant, if it is the only solution, look at the glass half full and not the half empty

This is true. Sometimes I just don't accept what happened to me and ignore my condition. Every month since Aug 2019 more plaques come. Probably it won't stop now. Much less stop AND heal. On the other hand, my emotions tell me everything is gonna be ok with time. I need to listen to my rational side.
I forget I have Peyronie when I masturbate. During masturbation, I feel pleasure the way I've always felt because I can hold my dick with my fingers in a way it's good and not painful. In a pussy, it's different. It's difficult to enter and to thrust, it's a bit painful...

It also prevents new deformities. So, after an implant, there will be no more worries about curvature or hourglassing. This is very positive!

Guys, thank you very much for your words. It's very good to read others' views and opinions. I hope to return the help by creating a journal and helping more men here.
God bless y'all.
