DO BOTH SIDES HAVE THE SAME EFFECT?

Postby BoneBack » Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:14 pm

I know that you're supposed to switch sides when you inject but after about 5 injections, I've stayed on the right side and have gotten pretty comfortable with injecting now. I didn't think it would be smart to switching to the non-dominant hand when I didn't even feel comfortable with my dominant hand. Here soon I'm gonna start injecting on the other side but my question is do any of you guys experience different effects of the Trimix depending on the side that you inject? Does one side maybe require more or less medication or does the same medication have more or less affect per the same dosage? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Both sides work the same for me. Others report that they have different results depending on side. I speculate that in most cases it's a matter of technique with the off hand but I also suspect there is enough variation between individuals that at least some guys do get different results based on injection side.

My very experienced senior urologist told me you could inject on either side all the way from the top to the bottom, and that switching injection sites isn't even important if you have proper injection technique.

But in my experience, the left side works better. The right side doesn't react as strongly. I wonder does blood flow in to the penis on the left side and out on the right side?
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

I also have a more effective response, only on the right side. At first I thought it was technic but every time was the same. I have been considering varying tge dose from side to side but it it takes the full 20mcg on the right side now for an erection firm enough for penetration 15 minutes. 40mcg doses are not available here so it could require titration and two injections or combing pde. Any suggestions welcome

Left worked better for me. Don't know why?

I am so glad for this forum. I started injecting on my left side since I started injections last summer. I’ve started switching to the right side. Only two injections on the right, and the effect of nominal compared to the left. I’m hardly erect with same dose when injecting on right side.

I’m left handed.

I switch sides of my penis, but don't change injecting hands...I always inject with my right hand. It's a little awkward but I manage. I would've thought that was what everyone did.

Been injecting now for 4 months at least twice a week. I’ve alternated every time since I started. At times I get quicker results or slower results on either side! The tubes are connected in the head so as long as your massaging it in it shouldn’t matter. I also have noticed if I’m slightly erect( which is a very difficult thing but at times it does happen w a little coaxing from the wife) the shot reacts very quick, assuming the blood is already flowing .also i uses dominant hand to give shot on either side. Always in a very brightly lit room so I can miss all veins that’s possible

From what I can ascertain in diagrams, there is an artery down the middle of both cavernosa. I assume that it infuses out into the cavernosa spnogosa material and somehow finds its way back to the deep dorsal (return) vein. This is apparently a separate plumbing system from both the head and the uretheral spongosa. I've often wondered if there was advantage to injecting on both sides for a session and whether it's better near the base or head. I've been assured here that I'm overthinking this as the septum between the two cavernosa is porous, but am still thinking and searching. I'd love to see a doctor's response. I seem to get a better, longer response injecting both sides.

PS: I'm getting much more facile using my left hand to inject after 4 years or switching. I've developed two trigger finger joints on my right hand and am generally trying to use the left less-dominant hand now.
