Biker
You do usually go up in size. I started with an 18 in 2013, 20 in 2017 & 22 in 2020. My revisions went better than the original. My last one went great. I think I took two pain pills just as precaution. One was for the five hour ride home.
Depends on the age of implant. I had revision in 2017. Five months later the pump had to be replaced because it failed. They only changed the pump. All my others have been total revisions.
Revision 2/13/24 Dr Tariq Hakky, Atlanta (Great Doctor) Titan 24XL no Rte’s. I’m 62 married. I have had numerous revisions due to product and body failures. Always had a Titan ipp.

Was the recovery from just pump replacement fast. I figured if they are cutting you back open replace everything. I have a pain and lump where the reservoir is. I assume it’s full and fluid is not running to it. So it practically full. Coloplast told me there is a lock out from the reservoir to prevent auto inflation or deflation. I always complained that when inflating I would get a swelling in the groin. You could feel the tubing. Now you can feel the tuning. So it’s the pump or reservoir. I have the genesis pump. It’s the older pump with less issues except for me

Just an update, the pump is bad. Dead done and it’s lasted 14 months. That is the coloplast genesis pump. Hopefully my surgery will be by the end of April.
