My only negative about teaching hospitals is that your doc might not do the whole procedure. He can farm pieces or all of it off to interns if he wants. He still is the one listed as doing it. My wife's skull was opened up at a very well known hospital in ky. We found out later going through notes that a couple different interns did things. That is just more hands on you. I want one doc touching me period.

You can always ask that only the one does it but not sure they have to follow it.

I have a video consultation with Dr Eid first week of April and an appointment with Mishail on Monday. I’ve seen him a couple of times and can’t find anything bad on him and I like him but never talked about an implant. But yea Eid seems like doc to see

Dr. Lue performed a 16-dot plication for my Pyrones back in 2010. Since then I'm now returning to UCSF for implant however Dr. Lue is no longer doing implants so Dr. Breyer will be doing the installation. Has anyone worked the Dr. Breyer?

I checked out Dr. Shindel at UCSF and UC Davis (he worked there) on the internet and found nothing that indicates he does implants. See the following dated 2019:

I drove 700 miles so I could go to Edward Karpman. He was terrific, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. And yes, it was Edward Karpman, in Los Gatos, not Eric.

He was great to give info and help me decide between AMS and Titan for me, specifically. Very professional, very open. Had a couple of terrific conversations while I was trying to decide if I wanted to go forward and why one type of surgery over the other. His procedure was quick and very low touch to keep risk of infection down. He gave me great info about how to prepare and how to stretch out my dick so he could use a longer implant. Also great about getting me up and going quickly. Activation was in just 7 days. I was walking 2 miles on day 3 or 4, and playing racquetball by about 3.5 weeks.

Result was larger than I thought I'd be, quicker to use, and very little pain. I was amazed and delighted. If you want to talk about him, drop me a PM and I'll send you my phone number.
