Hi Brother,

How are you doing?
First of all sorry for my Englisch, but i think it's better than your Dutch :)
I'm scheduled to get an implant juli this years and scared to hell.
I Saw your last post telling you had at first the Titan, than the AMS but would go again for the Titan with revision.
May i ask you some questions?
Why do you prefer the Titan? I thougt the Titan is much less natural and harder to conceal. But can you live as normal with a Titan as with an AMS?
I'm a sauna visiter. Can i still do that with a Titan or will that be obscene?
Thanx man

I think you are confused if you are addressing ViaSwiss. His profile says that he does not have an implant.
I think the member you are thinking about that had a Titan, now has an AMS. But says if he gets a revision that he might go back to a Titan is sw110. As I remember his story, he is equally happy with both implants. His complaint is that the AMS pump is too large for his sack. I have to say that I do not know his complete story, but he seems to only be willing to change brands if his AMS fails. Each of our bodies are different. Very few members have had both brands. So a true comparison is difficult to find. I think AMS sells more implants world wide than Coloplast. Lots of men are living their lives with a larher pump. Use a good surgeon, make sure he understands your life & expectations.Trust his advice. Be carefull making a choice based upon what some internet stranger did.
Oh, as for a normal life. It has been my understanding that most of the common complaints of a Titan being so stiff that it is a little harder to hide. Those complaints seem to go away after a year or so. Many men just change their underwear choices & wear a looser style of pants. Best of luck to you in July.

One month post op. Mostly all healed and started cycling even though it burns sometimes. Well wish me luck I’m going to try it on my girlfriend tonight ! I feel I’ll start slow and see if it hurts. Maybe lots of lube or natural stuff! I’m nervous because I havent gotten the green light from my doctor but how tempting to see this hard on I haven’t had for years and not try to use it!

Ok one month post op and how was sex last night with a implant for the first time? First I pumped it up she touched it and comented that the gland felt Cold like a dead man compared to the rest. Weird how can I fix that issue? Next penetration was like ol times it felt so good! She loved the orgarms I gave her and most positions were fine. Something I noticed- as I was pumped up having sex my inflated penis got longer in size and thinnner in girth by a lot! I will have to ask the doctor is maybe I wasn’t fully inflated or what caused that to happen? If someone out there has experienced that shrinking and length during penetration coment here! Time to try it again tonight and see it really doesn’t feel sore.

I do not know what causes this. I have noticed that at times when I have inflated over the past nearly 3 years I will be longer but slimmer. This is not very often, But you are still early in this. Give it 3, 6, 9 and 12 months to see what happens with cycling and sex. I had improvements with mine out past a year. For now keep cycling and following your doctors instructions and enjoy it. Best of luck going forward with this.

Try to get more aroused before fully inflating, allowing the glans to engorge first. If you pump up fully without being completely aroused, you might prevent the bloodflow to the glans, thus the cold under-engorged tip.

Engorgement of tissues helps to fill out beyond the implant's own capabilities.

Thanks for the advise and I hope to keep posting and getting used to this implant! Could your penis be getting longer and thinner during sex because it needs more inflating? I mean my pump was very hard?

I was talking to another member that had a CX and it happened to him also. This was during his early cycling. But I am 3 years in on this one and need it to last for another year and it happened to me last about a month ago with my LGX. So I will go along with my same size inflated to max give or take a little and then I will inflate every so often and be thinner and longer noticeably. And just as hard at max inflation. I don't know but I don't care. As long as it works when I want it to and with out pain I am not concerned. Just give it time and keep asking these questions. You might even ask about oral ED meds or jells to help engorge your glans and corpora spongiosum.

Still trying to get used to flacid state of this new penis. It’s not as normal feeling as before but yes it does get hard quite well! Flacid it feels crinklely and you can tell something is in there soft! Maybe with a few pumps it goes away but then your semi erect ? I guess I made this choice and no turning back. Has anyone had opinions on the flacid state of wearing a implant?

Following your posts have been really helpful. I'm 99% sure of going ahead with an implant. Struggling with the decision of what surgeon to use. I am in midwest. I've talked with a local surgeon that specializes in this procedure but comes no where close to the volume of the "high profile/high volume" doctors that dominate this procedure. How did you choose your surgeon? Concerned about having an issue after surgery and having to travel to FL or New York for follow up or repair. I have not come across anyone that has regretted getting an implant.

65 years old. Found at yearly physical exam - Prostate cancer JUL/2018. RP OCT/2018. PSA still high after surgery, 8 weeks of radiation APR-JUN 2019. 1-year on Lupron/ADT. Some success with VED but unreliable and such a hassle. Missing my old life. Wife of 45 years extremely supportive. Current PSA undetectable and testosterone back up to 442. Feeling great but really missing the intimacy with my wife.

Thanks again for taking time to share your journey with us.
67 years old. RP OCT/2018. Implanted by Dr Eid 11-12-2021. Titan 20cm. No regrets and 100% happy with the process and results. Forever grateful to Dr Eid for his diligence and expertise in helping men like me. Research, know your surgeon and prepare.
