Hi Guys, I'm booked in to have a titan coloplast implanted by Mr Ralph at the ucl hospital in London in around 6 weeks.
I read a lot about length concerns but less about girth. My natural girth (which I have maintained throughout my ED with regular pumping and jelquing) is 5.25 inches around just below the glans increasing to 6.7 inches around at the base. Mid shaft is 6 inches around.
So I have a couple of questions. Firstly, can the coloplast cylinders expand enough to fully fill out 6 inches of girth? The cylinders didn't look too thick on the example I looked at... Secondly, can they expand differentially down the shaft so I still get the benefit of the thicker parts of my penis lower on the shaft, or will the cylinders only expand to the thinnest part of the shaft, so that I'll have a penis that is 5.25 inches around, down the whole length (currently the thinnest part beneath the glans) and lose the 6 inches mid shaft girth?
I'd be really interested from anyone with any insight, especially girthier men and their experience
being implanted and most especially and any guys who also have a penis much thicker at the base than just beneath the glans and how the implant has gone for them!
Many thanks! Toby.

Hi, soon to bionic brother, yes the titan cylinders should let you either keep your current girth or slightly increase it .Dr. Kramer told me before the surgery that he does not destroy the erectile tissue so I still get thicker girth when aroused. Discuss this with your surgeon.
I personally gained girth. However over time it seems the cylinders have evened out more. It went from 5.25 just behind the Glans to 5.5 but the base went from 6.5 to 6.25 but my wife says it looks more balanced now, and feels a little more comfortable to take.
Just makes sure the doctor doesn't use titan narrow cylinders.
Good times are ahead !!

Re: Operation in 6 weeks. Girth questions!
My girth from my teens up until my 60's was 5.5", same as my length by the way. When I started having ED problems, I started using Trimix. I used it for 12 yrs. It worked very well and I loved the stuff up until it stopped working. Using it for that long a time increased my girth to over 6.5" over most of the length. I really liked that! So when I was looking into implants, I went with the Coloplast because it was supposed to be better for girth then the AMS. Well for some reason I lost that "gained" girth and ended up with the same girth I've always had before ED struck, 5.5". The one thing I noticed with the implant is that my dick is more flat or "D" shaped where before it was round, I think this is where the girth went. But I am still very happy with my implant even if I lost that girth, 5.5" is still good.
Implanted 6/26/2018, Coloplast Titan 20cm, no RTE'S, infra pubic, Dr. Rhee, Kaiser 80 yrs., married 57 yrs. ED for over 20 yrs.
