Number of pumps with a AMS CX

Postby LookingUp » Tue Apr 20, 2021 12:47 pm

Looking for info on Number of pumps until Bulb Hard lock and time (weeks out from surgery) it took to achieve that number? Seems to be a large (for me) difference of pumps required between all implant devices.

I'm 1 week into cycling, 7 weeks out of surgery. 18cm+3RTE CX about 5 to 6 full pumps until rock hard pump. Can get a few additional 1/2 pumps over an hour inflated.

Pumps Up?

I got the exact same implant and size on 2/18/21. After about a month of twice a day cycling, it is now taking 10-12 pumps to get rock hard. I can usually get another partial pump or three in after I've been inflated for a while.

Hey guys , How is the pump consistency? mine can be hard as a marble or pump nicely and it changes daily without any deference to temperature. I want to punch an AMS engineer ! lol

I've noticed some difference from time to time, but it isn't dramatic. It is getting easier to use all the time, and the pump bulb has softened.

I recommend you do not punch with the hand you pump with. You don't want to hurt that hand!

Pumps Up?

Number of pumps/squeezes depends on a lot of factors. How deeply you pump the bulb. The shape of your fingers pressing into the pump bulb (will affect how completely you squash the bulb). I have noticed that, as I pump fuller and fuller in a single pumping session and as the pump bulb gets firmer an add phenomenon. The slower I pump (pausing a couple of seconds to let the pump bulb relax and fill) I seem to be able to get a deeper compression of the bulb. I don't know if this is because I have given my hand a couple of seconds to rest, letting the overpressure relief valve do its thing or what. But it does affect the count of the number of squeezes.

I have read reports of men who get fully inflated with as few as 4 pumps and as many as 60. I can do 40 to get to the point where I am not getting any firmer, but can still depress the pump bulb a bit forever. Whether that is due to elasticity of the bulb and tubing or a function of an overpressure relief valve, I don't really know.

I actually counted for the first time in awhile how many full wall to wall compressions I needed before the pump stopped flexing, Like LostSheep, I can keep minor pumps but it doesn't seem to change any.

I think you are on line with the 18 give or take a few

The first week I was cycling I could only get maybe 5 and my cock hurt after just a few seconds, my doctor had me cycling 3 at least 3 times a day to max and to gradually increase the time inflated. Over time I got to where I keep it fully inflated for an hour plus with out it beginning to hurt. I think it was at least 6 months of this cycling regime.

As I stated I hadn't counted number of pumps to max, generally now my inflation is based on what I'm going to do with it. I'm hard enough for PIV sex anywhere between 12 and 15. Over 16 I don't notice much of a difference in hardness.

I've only had my implant not quite 2 years, My wife and I are still experimenting with different levels of hardness.

Thanks for the intel, everyone, I'm a impatient person sometimes and I always want to engineer stuff better then I found it. its a curse. I'm still oozing a bit from my incision stitches (7 weeks out, oof is clearest and smells sweet) -damn. A few flesh blobs between the stitches look ulcered a bit so called the Dr. about all that...Just waiting for that call back,I Have to go back in and have the reservoir moved next month and thinking about asking if the pump can be cocked at 45 degrees so its not just hanging like a big fishing weight from my right sac. Like the pump to get cradled in some kind of flexible martial in bottom of scrotom- guess thats wishful thinking but would sure feel better.

10 pumps good enough for penetration. About the same hardness if I got a good injection.

20 pumps hard as my wife wants.
