A pumped-up implant does not bend in any direction easily.

Even a pumped-up implant, at the point where the inflatable portion joins the uninflatable rear tip is said to bend a bit easier, This point varies, depending on the depth of the man's crus and the length of the rear of the implant (including the rear tip extenders).

My experience has been that a partially inflated implant (inflated to the point of a partially erect penis) is equally easy/difficult to keep/conceal in my clothes, whether jeans, suit pants, bathing suit etc.

In any event, it is not an unreasonable question at all. Reading posts about concealing implants, one who does not have one would naturally wonder. The upshot is that an implanted and uninflated penis will be a little more difficult to conceal than your penis was when flaccid and before implant (because the implant does occupy some volume you did not have before - but not very much). Getting a little more inflated, your implanted penis will behave very much like your natural penis did at any degree of inflation/erection. At least, that is my experience.

AMS devices are a little more natural-feeling and looking than the Coloplast devices (and easier to stow away in your pants) because the Coloplast devices are made of a material that is a little stiffer when not inflated. Especially when new. This softens over time. But the Coloplast is stiffer by nature. All the devices (available in the U.S.), AMS and Coloplast are capable of producing an erection equal to anything a man ever had when he was fully functioning, so the difference in rigidity between makes and models is essentially irrelevant as far as sex is concerned. It is more important to have the device implanted and sized correctly. This depends entirely on the skill and knowledge of the surgeon.

You can see that to some degree you can bend an implant to a certain direction. I don't think you can hide a fully pumped up implant but perhaps a partially pumped one.

Fully pumped? Seriously doubt it can be hidden in ANY type of pants.
Even as an exhibitionist, after the thrill is gone, you will want to deflate it in order to conceal it (IMHO)

This is a very good question.

4 weeks post-op here. For now, I can't imagine how I'm gonna hide it or how I'm gonna make excuses to go to the bathroom and return to the bed with the implant inflated. I read some guys do that (excuses to go to the bathroom, and then return with the implant inflated under the pants).

I basically can't point it anywhere when fully inflated. It's very rigid. I guess I'll pump a bit (5 pumps), then pump more when doing oral sex on the girl... But if she wants to do me first, well...

More so than concealing, I'd think it would be painful. I'm (very) small and "hard" inside my baggy cargo pants in not comfortable. Bigger dick, tighter pants.... ummmm maybe.... There is probably a "half-pumped" position that would be more comfortable.
