Operation in 6 weeks. Girth questions!

Hi toby799. I am 8 weeks post implant. AMS CX 24 X 18. i have shrunk by a whole 1.25" in girth and 3/4 " in length. Shocked and disappointed. Went into surgery 6x6 a "burrito dick" and now a "hot dog". Wish I had not done this implant. Good luck to you. Discuss your expectation with your surgeon.

At only 8 weeks from implant it may be a bit early to make judgements on your size if you are following a daily cycling regime. I am only 3 months post implant and from "activation" have gained 1.8cm in length.

But the main concern with me is the girth
simple math tells of the tube dia is 18mm and the 2 tubes together makes it 36mm say 40 mm including the urethra which is 125.71 mm circumference or 4.94 inches. Still short a whole inch.
Correct me if my logic is faulty.

At six inches your surgeon should have suggested the Titan. I think you would have maintained your girth easily if he had.

You are right. Titan was not given to me as an option. I should have been on this board much earlier. i am not aware if the diameter of the Titan Implant is larger than CX. If it is greater than 18mm it would definitly would have made a difference. Alas it is too late.

Who was your surgeon?

I would rather not name him.
He is very well known in my area.
has research papers published relating to implants and also is a consultant to Boston Scientific .

I have the AMS lgx 700 which is supposed to expand in both length and girth over time. While I have gained length, I am yet to see any gains in girth. I was implanted 15th january this year. Time will tell I guess.

My girth remains the same with the AMS 700 Lgx, I did loose and an inch in length, formally 6X5. I believe I will get that back and make more hopefully in L & G. remembering to before pyronies took control I was larger... I too am newly implanted. Will Let you know in a year.

also the penis is not cylindrical as before it is more elliptical.
how is it possible to increase girth if the tube dia is fixed at 13, 16 or 18 mm ???
unless they expand as a balloon. dont mean to discourage you. These are just my concerns.

My penis is now more oval shaped than round as it was naturally. However Ihad zero erection capabilities after prostate surgery. If I could get some engorgement in the tunica and head of my penis now it would obviously give a more rounded appearance.
The AMS lgx 700 is designed to give girth and length expansion over time using a cross weave manufacture, (I recall reading).
However I must emphasise that I and my wife are extremely happy with the current results of my implant. Sure, to gain more length and girth would be nice but being able to have spontaneous erections for as long as I want without fear of losing the erection is fantastic.
