Implant Q - Are there any cyclists (bicycles not pumps) out there who have had an implant and could still cycle a couple of hours or so. I'm well aware of the issues with saddle etc so I have to have a 'special noseless saddle' anyway. Its £250 by the time its gets through customs and I have two! No more numbness

Hi Biker, yep I'm a cyclist and implanted. I used to race competitively many years ago. These days maximum ride of about an hour. Initially after implant, maybe 6-8weeks I did do some "test" rides. I was certainly aware of the implant and it was a bit uncomfortable. Now 4 months post implant I find that there is no real discomfort apart from sitting down on the saddle which I do carefully. I would be confident in doing a 2 hour ride without issues.
Cheers boots.
