Sure, here it is, remaining bruise and all!

Very impressive... If that's flaccid I can't wait to see it fully recovered and aggressively pumped ... Your partners will be drooling and raring to try it out... In the second shot it looks like you have some pre-cum... ;) So I think you are nearly ready for blast off...

I just had my surgery with Dr. Eid. He is an amazing surgeon and caring human being. His whole team is fantastic. I chose Dr. Eid because of his reputation and his depth of knowledge and experience. You want someone who can handle anything he finds during surgery and after talking to Dr. Eid, I felt he was that surgeon.

You are in great hands!

P.S. When I woke up in the OR, I checked to make sure it was still there and they told me to leave it alone  Ice up, stay in bed the day of and two full days following the surgery and be careful with the heavy narcotics...they made me very dizzy.

Looks like you already had your surgery!

Yeah, I know what you mean! The way they bundled up the whole area after the surgery, it was hard to tell if I still had something there, or if they had chopped it off and given it to charity. Eventually, I did pull out the waistband of the jockstrap, just enough to see the catheter coming out of the tip of my dick. Not really a sexy sight.

Seventeen days since surgery: removed stitches

Postby NYCGay » Fri May 28, 2021 11:45 am

This morning, after cycling my device in the hot bath Dr. Eid recommends, I removed the stitches. Dr. Eid said I could let any health-care professional do it, if I didn’t want to bother going back to his office. I figured the three months of medical training I got in the military sufficed, so I did it myself. Yeah, I know, three months don’t exactly make you a professional, but the training did include suturing a wound (we practiced on squares of pig skin) as well as removing sutures, and the latter is really very easy.

Some surgeons apparently use the kind of thread that dissolves by itself, but Dr. Eid uses permanent thread, the better to withstand the hot baths.

It feels good no longer having those pieces of surgical thread marring the look of my equipment. The incision wound is practically invisible. Almost all the bruising is gone, and my pubes have started growing back. I relish these steps towards normality.

I’m still very sore and achy though. At first, I thought I was among the luckier ones when it came to recovery, because I never had any really bad pain, but now I wonder if I’m a somewhat slow-healing case, because the pain and discomfort I do have just seem to go on and on and on. I’m never quite comfortable.

I still haven’t figured out how to arrange myself comfortably when moving around. Dr. Eid recommends keeping your dick pointing up in your underwear during the early part of the healing. I bought underwear by the brand SAXX which were recommended by someone here on FT. I put my dick pointing upwards, and then pull the waistband up to my belly-button, so that it won’t touch the glans. That’s moderately comfortable for about five minutes, but then the pressure starts making my dick ache. Also, with my new larger flaccid, my foreskin tends to pull back from the tip of my glans, and I’m not used to having the sensitive skin of my glans rubbing against fabric.

I’ve tried walking around naked (or at least without pants), but just the force of gravity pulling on my dick makes that uncomfortable too. The most comfortable solution I’ve found so far is to put on a pair of jeans shorts I have with a button fly. I button the top and bottom button and then let my dick stick out in between. That way, my dick is gently supported at an angle of about 4:00 o’clock. See picture below. I’m sure glad I’m not back in the office yet.

When working, I’ve taken to sitting in bed, with a heating pad over my dick, the laptop on top of that, and the large monitor I need for my work on a TV tray next to the bed. Luckily, I can still look decent in video calls.

I’m going with my partner to visit friends upstate over the long Memorial Day weekend. Haven’t decided yet whether I will tell them about my implant. I think I’d rather not, but if I’m too uncomfortable and need to constantly rearrange myself or go and lie down in our room, then I’ll probably just tell them. I could of course make up excuses about back aches or what not, but it's like I can't be bothered.

I feel you my brother. Your 10 days ahead of me and can relate exactly. I don’t see or feel this discomfort letting up anytime soon. I just hope at 17 days out I can be ok to leave the house as well. Hang in there
