6 weeks post surgery. Swelling and discomfort advice?

Postby Anglersec » Thu Jun 10, 2021 11:08 pm

Hey there. Titan implant. Now 6 weeks past.
Swelling STILL with the ring around the head (glans). Nurse said when they did see that it was usually 1 or 2 months going away. Anyone have that that can give advice.

Also. Head is extremely sensitive. Simply shorts touching it is almost unbearable. I can wear underwear and that helps, but then the underwear starts to feel too tight on the penis and causes discomfort. Advice?

I'm cycling daily to fully erect. Device is working fine. I've had sex as well. Even starting to get some of the sensation back in the penis. But this swelling and the head discomfort is driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated!

I read about this issue with another guy here, doc told him to wrap gauze around the head to help with the swollen glans. That might also help with the sensitivity issue.

I was so sensitive that I put a baby sock over it and then put a paper tube over that so nothing could touch it. That was up to 4 weeks. I live out in the country so when taking walks, I would let it stick straight out with nothing on it.. Even my shirt tail touching it hurt. Note; My doc had me 80-90 % pumped up for the full 4 weeks to cure my PD curve. OUCH!

I am currently dealing with the same issues with the head being extremely sensitive and feeling “raw”. I recently bought baby socks and put them on my penis and it seems to alleviate most of the uncomfortableness. I also cut the tips off some the socks and were them as a wrap. Give it a try it won’t hurt.

Separatec underwear are the best for the first couple of months, especially for oversensitivity! They’re a little pricey but well worth it. I’m almost 2 months and I can only wear those and boxers, depending on the material of my pants (jean, basketball shorts, dress pants etc).
