Just got back from my post op visit with Dr. Eid. He pumped me up, and measured, and it looks like I might have lost 1cm in length. He’s not totally sure, so I don’t know, I may get it back or may not. Not great news though.

IMHO, it is way to early to worry about whether or not you actually lost any length. There are variables, such as, were you max inflated, measuring variances like were was it a hard or gentle bone pressed measurement? I think with your Titan, recovering 1cm is positively possible. Give it time, you just had surgery.

I hope you’re right SteveSW, and I even made a mental note not to make judgements too soon post-op, so I’m gonna try and not worry about it. Dr. Eid 100% calls it like he sees it, which is not always reassuring, but I have come to respect that about him, and so I’m going to just trust his work.

Your 3 days post op and the first time it was used you may have lost 1 cm... dude have some perspective

Believe me, if it was me measuring, I would’ve been ok. But when the doc, and not just any doc, is going “hmm, that’s odd” you can imagine how it might be a bit more of a bummer. But still, I’m just going to cycle as aggressively as I’m able to (within pain threshold of course) and hope for the best.

That's right Dr. Eid said it while measuring with a ruler. He wasn't totally sure, but yeah. He did say that he put the cylinders in and took them out a few times, trying to get the best fit, and that at one point the tips were pushing too much on the glans, so that's why he chopped a little bit off. The more I think about it, the more I trust he did me good, and that everything will work out.

And yeah, I agree, doesn't seem like I'd be at max on day 3, but then again, I figured he would know best. It hurt so bad when he pumped me up, and he was pretty rough with it, but I'm sure he knows what's ok and what's not. Also, I have read several posts, from merrix and others, talking about this issue, and how (at least for them), half an inch or more came back, so that's reassuring.

If this is the worst thing that happens in the next 8-10 years (losing half inch), then I can''t complain too much I guess. It was just unexpected to hear from him.

Day 4 post op, and I need to start cycling. I have the Titan One Touch, and I’m a little unsure about one thing. So I pump it up, wait a while, then deflate. But after that, do I need to squeeze the pump again one more time to “lock” it, i.e. to prevent auto-fill? Or am I good once I’ve gotten it deflated?

First attempt seemed to work alright. Did about 20 pumps, waited about 6 minutes, and then deflated. Could’ve gone for 10 but I’ve got a long day with the airport, etc so didn’t want to go too hard. Tonight at home I’ll try to pump a little more, and aim for 10 minutes. Dr. Eid says I’m aiming for 40 minutes 2x a day, hopefully won’t take too long to get there. Definitely relieved to be on schedule with the cycling. Minor aches along the shaft right now, definitely manageable.
