I have no idea, but I'd guess older women would be quicker to accept it when they find out about it.

It will beat the shit out of explaining E.D. I have been single for 3 years. I had to discuss it several times. Not one of them rejected me due to it, but it was a difficult, stressful situation.

I now have the implant. I am dating a woman who has been supportive every step of the way. I'm looking forward to the test.

If a woman doesn't accept you with the implant, you don't need her in your life. JMO

Well for me it is no big deal. Women soon learn that guys have trouble from time to time even with out ED. Implant gives me the confidence to know I can pull my end of the job if it goes there. Part of my dating process is being up front and informing the lady about it if I am interested enough in her. Same with regular dating just that after things look to be going well I explain that I want sex in a relationship. And it was important enough to me to have surgery. And then explain that I can now perform anytime I want. That there is never a time when it does not work. And for as long as we both want. All the women I have been with that it made it to that point were positive about it and I never had a women end things because of it. Now there were women that I did not get along well enough with to get to that point. Most women really like men when they are open and honest. Not something to lead off with on the first meeting but once you find out if you have a connection then something to bring up.

And welcome to the site.

Personally I think depends the age of the woman and how serious you want to take things... I would not tell any woman till I know I want to take things to a relationship level.. if it’s just fun there is zero need to tell her. It’s like if she had an operation to tighten her vagina.. and ye are just having fun don’t even know where it’s going and before sex she goes oh by the way I had an operation to tighten my vagina I just had to tell you.... would you really feel you had the right to know that information?? Well personally I wouldn’t.. just have fun use your new toy tell them your balls are sensitive so they don’t go near them and then when you decide you want to take things more serious tell her..

I agree with your statement irishguy, life post-implant is about having fun and healing all the psychological damage that ED caused to me. When, I am in the moment, I enjoy it to the max, go into details about why I am having such an amazing erection, it will kill the moment.
I already did a lot of explanations, during years of traumatizing ED.

Some might be scared off but not many.

Think of it this way - would you care if a woman's boobs were fake if they looked incredible and were fun during sex?
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

Not to be argumentative, but in my experience (and this applies less to younger, hornier women than more mature [in mind as well is body]), generally, women feel about sex differently than men do.

Women see a man's erectile response as an indicator of his desire for her, which boosts or deflates her self-esteem.

The upside of the difference between men and women is that women (again, in general) care more about the MAN than the penis attached to him. That is, a great penis attached to a jerk is more likely to result in her rejection than a mediocre penis attached to a wonderful lover. (Being a good lover involves a LOT more than coitus!)

Women are incredibly supportive if they feel desired, trusted, respected and safe.

I went on a dating site and was honest about my inability to have sex and that I was intending to have an implant to fix that problem. My honesty and candor was commented on several times as "brave" and "refreshing".

Don't waste a day of a potential relationship just because sex may be difficult. There are other (and some are better) ways for a woman to have and to give orgasms. Also, orgasms are not the only joy of sex.

When my E.D. began the transition towards impotence, I learned cunnilingus and how to use my hands and sexual aids (toys) to masturbate her. These skills (even after my implanted penis is unstoppable) are still useful and QUITE appreciated.

Trust her. Let her know by your words and actions that you want to please her and that trust her with your innermost secrets.

Since I'm single, this is a topic of my interest.

This is true and may be a problem for some of us. Women like to see men desiring her, and some of them see the erection as the best indicator of this.

Yea this is also true. If you show yourself confident despite being somehow "handicapped", this will get her interest.
She may be repelled by the idea your erection is "mechanical", but if she sees you don't care and are confident, she at least will give you a chance. And after giving you a chance, probably she will notice an implant is ok and capable of anything a normal penis can do.

And more. The shortcomings of having an implant (the mechanical nature, the lack of spontaneity, the risk that someday it will fail, etc) there is one thing an implanted penis can do that a "normal" penis is usually not capable of doing....staying erect after orgasm/ejaculation. My girlfriend REALLY likes it that I stay inside her after I orgasm, can keep stroking her and the additional lubrication of my ejaculate makes things extra exciting. Being able to extend the lovemaking past when I usually would have to stop is something that is an advantage that makes a woman's misgivings about any "unnatural" nature of an implanted penis easily overcome....at least once she has tried it out for a test run once or twice.

Just tell your prospective partner that you are a cyborg, which is defined as a person "containing elements built into the body which extend abilities beyond normal human limitations".
