AMS 700 M/S pump
Re: AMS 700 M/S pump
I think I was better prepared for what to expect from the early pumping efforts. Between my doctor, the AMS rep, and of course the men here at FT, I was well educated and knew what to expect and what those beginning challenges were going to be. I have had no difficulty inflating or deflating since day one. The bulb was very hard, but has softened up very quickly, and even my husband has no problem giving me a boner LOL, which I have to admit is fun.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

Recall reason; “..…. complaints of problems encountered during the initial activation of the device in which the patient and/or the physician is unable or has difficulty activating the pump in order to achieve cylinder inflation.”
Sounds likely that some doctors didn’t return their old inventory.

I just used the AMS lookup tool and verified that my implant was not one of the affected models/lot numbers. Makes me all the happier.
Implant 1/28/2021. Dr Stephen A Johnson. Done at Baylor, Scott and White in Sherman, Texas. TRT since 2005, serious ED from 2004. Used nearly all PDE5 drugs. Injections failed. Started cycling at 1 week. Cycle most days. AMS 700 CX 23cm, 100ml reservoir.
