Implant and urinary sling combo operation.

I had a radical prostatectomy about five years ago and I've tried all the recommended treatments from pills to injections to vacuum pumps with inconsistent results so I am scheduling my implant surgery For the end of July.Because of the radical prospect I also have mild urinary incontinence so I was hoping the surgeon could do both an implant and a urethral sling at the same time But he Said that was not a good idea and even suggested that sometimes after the implant surgery the incontinence situation is minimized.Has anybody here had The surgery at the same time and is his suggestion that incontinence can be minimized By the implant surgery a valid statement.

I had a small amount of leakage after implant. I had to use pads that I didn't like. Also I would pass urine at orgasm which my wife hated. I later got an aus, that is supposed to be better than the sling. Results, don't need pads. still pass urine at orgasm. still leak if I ride my motor cycle. Very crowded wit 2 pumps. and have pain in my scrotum skin which URO says will go away but been 10 months.

I have never spoken about this But I had weak control before the implant. As a resolute I was quite afraid that the surgery would push me over and i may then have a problem. But to my surprise after the surgery I had my old control back, I surmised it was the catheter that cleared some stuff up ? Who knows but that is one good thing.

Don’t have that surgical experience.

I had detached testicle. I asked if it could be repaired and have implant at same time. Was told “no”. High risk for infection.
