Older women accepting implants a myth?

Postby Mark74 » Tue Jul 06, 2021 3:26 pm

There seems to be the perception among men that older women will be more accepting of penile implants. It seems intuitive, since older women would have their own physical vulnerabilities and ailments. However, I don't think human nature works like that. It seems to me that just because a person has problems in some different areas doesn't mean they will accept problems in someone else, especially if its in an area they themselves never have to worry about.

I think its possible that younger women may be more accepting, especially millennials. They seem to be more open to alternative situations than my own Gen x or the baby boomers. They grew up with acceptance of diversity being pounded into their heads from the time they were born.

I know its not at all related, but when I started losing my hair in my late 20's/early 30's it was the younger women who were more accepting. I had dated older women (30's and 40's..I guess they would be called cougars today) and they lost all interest in me. It probably makes sense since they were looking specifically for young physical characteristics, but it still felt a bit counterintuitive.

Even in my own family some of the older women recommended a hair transplant or hair system while the younger ones said to shave it off.

The reality is most women will reject a penile implant, but I think the older ones will be most likely to reject it. They come from a time when different was bad and they still have that gut instinct. Also, they are getting on themselves and are holding onto anything that still makes them feel young and full of life. They don't want anything that suggests decay or death.

Thats my take on it anyways

First off!-WHY would you mention it to them? I sure as hell don't except for one woman and she didn't have a problem with it. So just keep the fact you have one to yourself, I do!

In my experience, women make love with the man, primarily. They accept whatever penis is attached to a man they like.

Mature women, aside from knowing they are not perfect, have probably experienced a number of men (or from gal friends, heard of men) who are less-than-perfect and have more reasonable expectations than younger women. Younger women may be more open to oddities or may have more expectations of "normality" in their sex partners' penises. But each woman is unique and will make her decisions based largely on how you present yourself. HOW YOU PRESENT YOURSELF is more important than what you present.

As far as women seeing a bald head or imperfect penis as "damaged goods", it is the weakness in a man that is evidenced by denial (toupee, comb-over, denial of ED or the refusal, when clearly lost to ask directions of a stranger, for examples) that turns her off. Denial signals immaturity which is a turn-off for a woman. Acknowledgement, and the willingness to take whatever steps are necessary to take a problem on and solve it is a turn-on.

Women get many things with age. Experience is probably one of the big ones. I'll be willing to bet that most single women dating that are over the age of 40 have met a guy with ED. If they are expecting a relationship with some sex involved. Just a quick romp will remove that worry from the check list that she has.

Why do you think most women would reject implants?

Perhaps you need to consider how accepting of ED a woman of any age would be. I would imagine most woman would want a guy they meet to be able to have intercourse if they wanted it. How many members of this forum have had new relationships fail; (or long term relationships/marriages); when the woman discovers that they have ED?

Absolutely right. There is no substitute for success. If a woman has good orgasms on your penis, she is unlikely to call a halt to it if she discovers (or you tell her) that you have an implant.

Maybe, instead of asking if a man should tell a woman before sex or after sex that he has an implant, he should consider telling DURING sex - especially just at the point where she is cumming hard. Unlikely she will say "Stop" at that point, you think?

Nothing succeeds like success.

Thanks LS. I think many men miss the philosophy of stepping up, roll the dice & give it your best shot. As has been mentioned many times, women like confidence, even if it goes bust. Shivering in a corner isn't a look that they like. They can accept failing after a good try far better.
Most women are dating for a reason. Generally they know what they want & what they're offering in return. They or their friends have run into ED and/or whiskey dick before. They've read the prevalence of ED as men age.
My guess, as the night unfolds. If a guy appears to be partially erect. He has put a few well timed pumps in. They aren't going to be asking if its an implanted dick. Her eyes, perhaps hands has told her its an erection. Done deal.
A simple request to not fondle the nuts cause you have an old sports injury should suffice. Throw it to her like your life depended on it. You can always say thanks, it was fun.
There is an old joke for women concerning men. "Lay them right the first time & you can walk on them for 20 years". This also works on women.
After dating guys that can't get it up or are only half hard. Maybe even have PE. You WILL BE THE MAN. Gently bang her until she is done. Cuddle, be polite & a gentleman. Keep the porn style sex to a minimum. Make sure you give her your phone number, repeat as needed.

When I was contemplating the implant, my wife was not in favor of it but said I should go ahead if I really wanted to. We were in our 60's and ED had pretty much put an end to our sex life; she was OK with that and saw no reason for going to the extreme of surgery to fix something she didn't see as a problem. I went ahead with the surgery, but as many here know it changed nothing for us (see my signature). We have been entirely platonic for about 15 years now and our life is just fine. Sex was good while it lasted, but life remains good without sex. I am, however, staring 80 in the face and am not too happy about that. But I suppose reaching 80 is better than not reaching 80.

Gotta throw the “bs” flag on this one…myths is defined as a widely held but false belief or idea…
