This post was incredibly helpful for me. I am 6 weeks until surgery and after initially feeling better after accepting the decision, lately I have been full of anxiety about these issues you mention. Thank you so much for laying it out like this.
I imagined going from a 7 inch to a 4 inch permanently and it really kept my up late into the night. Thanks for this again.

Thanks Willywonka, a very thoughtful and reassuring post for all us newly implanted guys and those considering... Thanks! I'm just coming up in 6 weeks. All is well apart from the pain- a little resting sometimes but mainly on pumping up. It aches like crazy! When did you (and anybody else) notice they could pump to maximum without any significant Discomfort? Right now I can't imagine being able to have sex and while I have masturbated it's been damn painful!

sitting on day 7 after my implant.. definitely started to have thoughts that had me questioning somethings. Your post was right on time to get me back on track. Truly appreciate you taking the time to break all this down. Thanks for the insight and in my case peptalk. Just a few questions. While maintaining this active lifestyle, do you still where jockstraps/special underwear for support? Also , 3 months later are you still on a daily cycling regiment? Now let me go try on a few pair of my basketball shorts while you answer those. lol
Hey bud!
Honestly, I bought an underwear called SAXX. They have a big pouch for the penis built in that also gives it freedom. One thing that has changed since I got my implant, is finding overly restrictive underwear uncomfortable. I actually prefer wearing no underwear most of the time outside of active stuff, and I even had someone say "here comes ______ with his huge dick"... I pretended like I couldnt hear it, but believe me, I did lol.
I was never on a daily cycling routine and just worked my way back into having sex regularly. I cycled mainly to get used to that damn bulb and pumping it up, because in all honesty, for the first couple months of pumping it, its a real m-fer to get used to. Then it gets "broken in" and I even feel like I can pump it up faster and more rigid with every passing week.

You addressed a lot of concerns. Thanks.
Believe me I know your pain... Combine the mental strain that comes with needing injections in the first place, with a fear of needles, and I only wish I had got the implant earlier.

I went from 17cm to 13.5, I'd be happy gaining just 3cm in 3 months!
Questions for you wolfpacker:
-you first week or two, with that much loss in length, were your tips all the way into your glans?
-were you dating your gf when you had this operation? if not, how and when did you end up telling her?
From what I understand, the extra 3 inches were always there, they just can get bunched up slightly due to wrinkles in the rubes or sitting further inside of you, until you cycle for a while and sort it out. After being bunched up in bandages and sensitive to touch, its like holding up an extremely wrinkled shirt... it looks too small for your size, cant just be tugged on to flatten out, but if you wore it long enough, it would eventually be smoothed out and back to its intended sizing.
