One step closer today, nearly there!

Postby Griffin » Thu Jul 08, 2021 6:44 am

Hi everyone, hope your all well.
After being told that I fit the criteria for an IPP on the NHS here in good old England (riddled with small peyronies plaque) today is the long awaited day I get a caverject shot to size me for the equipment. I've never had one before but thanks to you guys I know what to expect and after being measured and having the relaven councilling I should be straight onto the waiting list.
Im happy, nervous, clean shaved :D and had a cheeky pump this morning for good measure.
Wish me luck guys!

41, peyronie's the last couple of years. No bend but kinks and hourglassing. Pills don't do enough. Shots not a viable option.
42 UK, Peyronie's plaques. No bending, just substandard functionality and some miss-shaping. Jumped through all the NHS hoops (various pills, VED, injections) finally getting implanted 04/10/22

Good luck Griffin. It is exciting to get the ball rolling, and then the closer you get the more fears you start to have. Just remember its a process you will be riddled of "what am I about to do / what did I do!?"

In the end, its almost always worth it.

Thanks guys, love the support on here.
Im not going to lie I'm a bit bummed out. I got my shot, she said it was caverject and there was 10.
It didn't do a deal, 4 o'clock at best then my urologist came in and examined me and said because I'd had some result with the shot he's bringing me back in a month for an invicorp shot with 20 in it.
Now, I don't want to upset the people who's struggles are worse than mine but in my last appointment I was lead to believe I was being put on the list. Now I have to prove that ingections arnt for me over time. Its just how it is over here, they said it would be negligence not to follow procedure.
Overall its just another bump in the road I suppose. I'll get there, just gotta keep on keeping on.
