Hi I’m just about to go in for my Titan implant surgery
More than anything I’m very concerned about penis length loss
I’m around 5.5inches hard at the moment .but have heard about different lengths lost after surgery .. ive not got too much to be able to lose length
Now I’ve heard about cycling to try and regain length ..could somebody explain this to me ….also what do they mean when then say aggressive cycling ?
I’ve also been told with the Titan it can increase the girth of your penis when pumped fully is this true ?
Thanks for any advice

Re: To cycle or not to cycle that is the question
It truly depends on the surgeon. If you go for an high volume surgeon you shouldn’t lose any length.

You shouldn't lose length, but make sure you tell the surgeon to size the implant accordingly. Cycling is inflating the implant for 10-60 minutes daily, some do twice a day (aggressive). I can't say if cycling helps gain any length or not though. I would get too sore from inflating my first few months, plus I was unaware of the cycling procedure. At 5 months I found FT and began cycling. After 2 months my gain was 1/8" so I gave up. Not sure if the delay starting to cycle was the cause of me losing close to 1" or not, or if my doc just didn't size me right. Going into surgery I knew nothing and let doc make all the decisions. Bad move on me.

Thanks for getting back with advice
I was thinking about talking to the surgeon before surgery … do they mind you asking them to size me correctly it seems like I’ll be telling them their job .. I was always going to bring up about my concerns of loosing length so hopefully he will get the message and make sure I’m sized correctly .I will cycle as soon as the pain will allow me too it can’t do no harm
Thanks darren

Do surgeons mind when you tell them to size you correctly?
In part, that will be determined by how you tell them as well as the doctor’s temperament.
I ended up eliminating one potential surgeon who got rattled when I used the term “aggressively sizing me” in an email. Our’s was more of a misunderstanding based on what he thought I meant (that I was trying for enlargement, rather than trying to avoid loss)
Based on experience, the size talk is best done in person. You can keep a friendly tone. I said something like “doc, I’m a guy, and penis size supposedly doesn’t matter but of course it really does. I’m starting at ___ inches. Based on your experience what should I expect afterwards?”
That’s a legitimate way to address a legitimate question, and the way your doctor answers it will sort of tell you if you have the right doctor for you.

Re: To cycle or not to cycle that is the question
I have an AMS, not a Titan, so my experience will likely be different from yours. I had many years of atrophy before the implant and wanted to get as much size, both length and girth, as possible.
I picked my doctor party based on his attitude toward size loss/regain, and he was very aggressive with his pre and post surgery directions. Before surgery, he had me using a VED to stretch the tissues and regain some of the lost length. I was instructed to use the VED four times every day for 20 minutes each time. I developed a routine that seemed to work, measured my progress by marking the side of the VED tube and saw good progress over the 3 months I had before surgery. He said that work allowed him to install a longer implant that I would otherwise have gotten.
After surgery, he told me to cycle (inflate the implant) up four times a day for 30 minutes or more each time. He had a process that allowed me to start cycling after just one week, rather than waiting for several weeks the way many doctors recommend. The idea was to again stretch the tissues so that I didn't get scarring in an uninflated position, allowing the full length of the implant to be used. He told me that over time I should see growth if I kept at it. I followed his instructions as much as possible - finding time and privacy for four inflations of a half hour each every day was sometimes problematic - and got what I think were excellent results. I came out of surgery with less than 5 inches of length, and now I'm almost 6 inches.
So my advice would be to pick the right doctor, make sure he knows that length is important and that his procedures promote early cycling from a minimally invasive approach, and follow his instructions both pre and post surgery. To get the right doctor, I ended up traveling 700 miles rather than choose one where I live. I interviewed 3 different doctors before I found the one I wanted. It's your body, make it your choice.
Best wishes for a great outcome. I love my implant and wish I'd done it much sooner.
Quincy.

Re: To cycle or not to cycle that is the question
Thank you both great incite into the different outcomes ….. I’m from the uk so we have our surgery free through our national health service so we don’t tend to get to pick which surgeon we prefer
The urologist that is doing my implant is very approachable so I will address my concerns with him pre operation and hopefully he will allay some of me fears regarding this
I’ve suffered Ed for the last 5 years and has mentally destroyed me took away any part of me that I felt manly
After the phone call came to go in on the 4th of august there was a huge relief and weight off my shoulders but as we do as men I started to worry
Thank you for your advice

Hey Darren
Im a little under 4 weeks post implant and I would say based on my experience and research it is tremendously important to cycle early and daily. I know you won't have control of picking your surgeon but make sure you inquire about his protocol. You want to hear that he cycles early and preferably uses the no touch technique..which allows aggressive sizing. Guys have gotten good results with different protocols but I'm a firm believer this gives you highest likelihood of success. I've linked a few videos from Dr Eid (considered best by many)that will give you insight. I suggest find his channel and watch all of them. You want to go into this with as much knowledge as possible!

Howdy Darren: a couple of thoughts
I really understand the concern over size loss. I can tell you to push past it and I have confidence that you will but it is easier said than done. Also you’re just going to have to do it in your own mind. Nobody else saying “it will be ok” is going to help.
I always thought I had a small one. I know. It’s ridiculous. Before surgery I was 6.8x6.0. I thought that was small. It is exhibit 1 in the trial of just how stupid men get when their dick is involved.
I had a late puberty (age 17-20). When I was 13, 14....everyone was getting hair and a bigger dick. I figured I was permanently small.
After puberty, I was a grower. My 3. Maybe 3 1/4 inch flaccid dick would get to nearly 7. I would see guys in the gym or Army showers and they had 5 or 6 soft inches hanging towards their knees and I would think shit, I got shortchanged in the cock department.
Porn didn’t help. They’re all huge. And the ones who aren’t are filmed in such s manner that they look big.
It was years before I figured out I wasn’t small, and even later I decided I was fairly big. Even so, when it came time to do an implant I was not a big fan of the idea I was going to be smaller.
So I lost roughly 1/4” after the surgery. It took a year to get back to that point. My doctor says that is success. He swears he put as much implant in as my anatomy would safely accommodate and that getting within 1/4” of the original is a good result.
There’s not much difference between 5 1/2 and 5 1/4. Truthfully? You’re not going to miss it. 5 1/4 really hard inches will be vastly superior to a 5 1/2” semi hard dick.
Your results may vary. There are guys on here who lost nothing, a few claim to have experienced some gain. But due to the nature of the surgery, a desire not to have erosion end up allowing the end of the implant to pop thru your glans one day, the loss of .25” is not a hell of a price to pay.
Then again, it is your penis. You have to decide if the risk of a small loss is worth it. But no sex partner is going to be able to discern that small of a change in your dimensions. Any difference is going to be in your head. Women, bless their hearts, think of anything between 4” and 8” as an average penis. I’m not going to tell them any different.
