First injection tonight… could use some help
First injection tonight… could use some help
So I just got my prescription today. I plan on trying it tonight. My urologist did not even show me how to do the injection or do a test dose in office. He prescribed me .1ml of pge-1. I’ve read a lot on here about the 3 and 9 o’clock sites, but are there any other tips? Also the syringes came with both 27g 1/2” and 30gm 1/2” which are most people using? How long should my erection last with this? Can i inject and go to bed for foreplay that leads into sex? Will I have an erection long enough for that or do I need to get up right before sex?

I can not believe that your Dr did not make you do a trial run to see how you would react! I have not done many injections but here is what I do know: First off where to inject, it is very important to know where not to inject, so do not hit any visible veins and I would go about half way down the shaft at 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock. As far as timing I would inject, dry rub it in slowly and wait about 10 minuets. Then I would just lay beside your partner until your rooster starts to have movement. Be VERY careful because this stuff can seriously cause you to have 4 hour scare! Do not fall asleep until its down. Also I would make sure to have real fast acting Sudafed, not the slow kind I think you have to ask for it. I hope that helps and good luck!

Thanks! Yeah I was shocked too after reading others experiences with doctors. He is supposed to be a good urologist but no not even advice or technique. He said he’s starting with a low dose and if it lasts longer than four hours go to hospital

9 and 3 ??? !!!
Maybe they changed their mind. One has to remember I started injections around 1987 using Papaverine/Phentolamine. I was taught inject at 10 or 2 o’clock. I guess the 4 o’clock position was reserved for people injecting Dr Pepper.
At any rate, I think it’s a bit scary to inject without a Dr supervised trial run. Caverject is probably a safer option to do that, though, than one of the multi-ingredient injectables. .1 ml isn’t a lot, either, depending upon the concentration.
Have the pseudoephedrine tablets handy (like the last poster said). If it doesn’t want to subside, ice and/or a cold shower. Exercise is also useful in speeding up the body and help metabolize things faster.
I would use the 30 gauge needle. In my years of injecting I typically went with a .5 inch, 29 gauge mainly because that’s what the Army gave diabetics at the post hospital and when I told the pharmacy NCOIC I was injecting my dick he gave me several cases. Like well over 1,000 syringes lol. But I really think a 27 gauge is too much.
Another thought. In the videos and Dr demonstrations and such they always show a guy jabbing the needle in swiftly. Maybe that’s the best way. But in my case it wasn’t the only way. I actually inserted the needle very slowly and deliberately, paying close attention to the feel, the resistance, what kind of tissue I might be passing thru. There is definitely a tougher layer at the tunica but once thru and in the corpora it’s like a hot knife in butter. If there is any resistance once you try to depress the plunger, abort. You’re not where you need to be. Going slow wasn’t painful and I seldom broke a blood vessel or bruised. The bottom line is YOU are sticking a needle in YOUR cock. Do it however is most comfortable.
If it were me I think I’d try viagra and a cock ring tonight, and book an appointment with the doctor’s nurse or PA and do a practice run. But that’s just me. In 35 years I never ended up in ER although I did have to go to clinic once during business hours for them to withdraw blood from the corpora. Afternoon delight deal.
Good luck.

Re: First injection tonight… could use some help
Thanks. Well we are going to Mexico for vacation in a couple of weeks and for obvious reasons the urologist said to try the injections a couple of times before trying it on a trip. So I really want to give it a try. I do have the real Sudafed that you have to get behind the counter so I should be good on that. I had to use it once with pt141, that stuff is crazy. I’m a little nervous this is going to hurt and that’s from someone that self injects three times a week for testosterone.

Re: First injection tonight… could use some help
I was a self taught injector (based on info in this forum) and a long time testosterone injector. Relax about the pain. I think it’s mostly mental. I find it almost painless
My number one piece of advice is to go slow. Don’t expect your first injection to be perfect. You can expect to little reaction or too much. You want to start with too little. Too much is mentally and maybe physically traumatic. You can usually get it right in 3-5 injections.

When in doubt start with a ridiculously small dose. You can always adjust it upwards in a day or two.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.
Re: First injection tonight… could use some help
Thanks guys. I believe my dose is pretty low and I have Sudafed. I sure don’t want to have to go to the hospital lol. I have Pge-1 and I believe it’s 15mcg? .1ml dose
