cialis on demand vs daily

It seems from the forums many often use cialis 5mg daily. Is this a preferred option compared to on-demand Cialis? Because of its very long half life, I find it difficult to predict the onset and peak of tadalafil on demand. Almost like the results are only best 6-12 hours later... thoughts? Do any of you have experience with cialis on demand vs daily, and find the daily use more effective?

I've been diligent about taking 20mg of Sildenafil (generic Viagra) on a daily basis since my radical prostatectomy in October 2018. The "challenge" dose of 100mg was never effective in producing an erection (I use Trimix for that purpose). I believe the 20mg daily dose has been effective in maintaining penile tissue, as my fully erect penis now is about the same size as pre-surgery.

Consult your doctor, of course, as I can only share my experience with Sildenafil. My surgeon recommended the daily 20mg of Sildenafil for overall penile health. I usually take mine during a "pee break" in the night since it's taken on an empty stomach and assists with nocturnal erections. Seems to be worth the $47 investment (at Costco) for a three-month supply.
