I usually don't read long posts, but this one really attracted me. I read it twice. You are a good writer, man! It is like a movie I am watching, and can imagine every personality in this movie. It seems like you and your wife fought very hard to keep the family together. Your wife also deserves a lot of credit.
Thanks again, and wish this move will bring happiness to your family.
Thanks AST, I laugh hearing I’m a good writer and it brought a smile to my face. I went to school for engineering and avoided any class that you had to write papers for. Even took an 8am psychology elective because the teacher didn’t require a paper.
She does deserve a ton of credit and yes we fought and I’m glad we did. If I’ve dined nothing else in this life we have 3 beautiful children that I’m really proud of. Each incredibly unique in their own way.
In other news, the catheter is out!! What a relief. I have to send my son to the store to buy me a proper sized supporter. The waist band on the one they gave me was not meant for a guy my size. It’s been the most uncomfortable part of the weekend. It looks like they had to partially cut a small nicks out of the waist band so it would fit. Wtf. Probably got charged $659 by the hospital for it too.
Ok, hardly any bruising, but I’m in the most pain I’ve been in yet. Is that normal for the pain to increase slightly after a few days? I was taking dilauded on Friday and Saturday, but didn’t take anything yesterday. Not even ibuprofen. That probably wasn’t wise. I just popped a Tylenol with codeine. My minion is cleaning the tub for my first bath. So excited. I don’t anticipate I’ll be able to pump it yet, but we’ll see how the hot water & codeine work out.
Hope everyone is having a good Monday morning.
