I usually don't read long posts, but this one really attracted me. I read it twice. You are a good writer, man! It is like a movie I am watching, and can imagine every personality in this movie. It seems like you and your wife fought very hard to keep the family together. Your wife also deserves a lot of credit.
Thanks again, and wish this move will bring happiness to your family.

Thanks AST, I laugh hearing I’m a good writer and it brought a smile to my face. I went to school for engineering and avoided any class that you had to write papers for. :) Even took an 8am psychology elective because the teacher didn’t require a paper.

She does deserve a ton of credit and yes we fought and I’m glad we did. If I’ve dined nothing else in this life we have 3 beautiful children that I’m really proud of. Each incredibly unique in their own way.

In other news, the catheter is out!! What a relief. I have to send my son to the store to buy me a proper sized supporter. The waist band on the one they gave me was not meant for a guy my size. It’s been the most uncomfortable part of the weekend. It looks like they had to partially cut a small nicks out of the waist band so it would fit. Wtf. Probably got charged $659 by the hospital for it too.

Ok, hardly any bruising, but I’m in the most pain I’ve been in yet. Is that normal for the pain to increase slightly after a few days? I was taking dilauded on Friday and Saturday, but didn’t take anything yesterday. Not even ibuprofen. That probably wasn’t wise. I just popped a Tylenol with codeine. My minion is cleaning the tub for my first bath. So excited. I don’t anticipate I’ll be able to pump it yet, but we’ll see how the hot water & codeine work out.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday morning.

I’m kind of blown away, I have no bruising and no swelling at this point. I just took an hour long excruciatingly hot bath. It loosened things up and I’m no longer in pain. The pain I was feeling was my 1 testicle got into a bad position with the pump. The hot bath straightened things out. I’m not very tender and was able to feel around pretty good. I didn’t try to pump or deflate. I’m going to give that another day. The heat from the bath and the meds had me pretty nauseous and I was one bad flick of ball away from puking. It is quite tender on the left side where I’m guessing the reservoir is.

One thing I was concerned about is with TRT my balls have shrunk to the size of pistachios. They pump looks fairly noticeable to me and I fear I’m going to have a lot of discomfort because of this.

As far as overall aesthetics, it’s still not much of a showwer and it’s partially pumped up. I think the issue is perspective. Being a large guy with a belly makes it appear smaller. At least that’s what I’m going to tell myself. I’ll add that the list of reasons to lose weight….as soon I’m done with this bag of salt & vinegar chips. :)

All that sounds terrific thus far. I can’t believe the absence of bruising. I actually asked the surgeon (on day 3). Who drove the SUV? He wanted to know what I was referring to. I told him “the SUV you guys took turns running over me with in the hospital parking lot after you knocked me out.” I bruised bad, negligible pain, some soreness but more the annoying rather than debilitating variety.

Why I replied: the pistachio sized nuts from TRT. Not the time to do this, but once you’re healed and see your TRT doctor again you might think of asking about HCG, assuming you haven’t already discussed it. If there isn’t a medical reason not to take it, I found it solved the shrinking balls issue immediately and had some other beneficial side effects. Mine kind of went from grade A large eggs to pecans but I got them back via HCG. A simple shot 2-3 times a week, subcutaneous.

Congrats Maxx-as the others have chimed in your going to LOVE your implant, and if the Mrs has a high libido trust me your going to be a dream come true for her.

While topically things seem to be going well, my mind has gone to the dark side. I expect a rollercoaster of emotions with something like this, but last night and still this morning I’m faltering. My brain knows I made the best call, but my gut is reading doubts. Every time I squeeze my pubic muscle it feels like a dead weight attached…and it kind of is. My left ball is not playing nicely with the pump. Sunday was great, I was near pain free and thought I was going to coast. Monday things started to tighten up. Scar tissue starting to form? The baths really helped. Before the procedure I never thought I’d be taking the recommended number of baths, but now I think it’s the opposite. It’s going to be more.

I tried to pump for the first time this morning, I wasn’t able to deflate in the tub. I had the right spot, but wasn’t confident enough to squeeze as hard as I needed to release the fluid. If I had had the little sample bulb next to me I would have been fine, but it was in the other room. I’m confident I’ll get it later tonight.

I can’t believe I didn’t know this. This is awesome. I’m definitely asking at my next appointment. So you have to continue taking 2-3 shots a week? Done above board, do they let you self administer? Going to an office that often is a no go for me.

God I hope so. I’ve always been a 1 and done guy. Fortunately, I’ve always been able to control the one. But usually after the one, not only do I get super sensitive. I really lose interest in continuing. I’m curious to see how staying erect after impacts that feeling.

Lol I’ve been waiting for and dreading this question. I’m so self conscious, but seeing so many others photos have helped me tremendously I’d be a heel to not do so. I have literally never taken a picture of my junk but, but I will when I get it first inflated. What I do for you guys. :).

Failed to pump last night, but managed to pull it off this morning with some technique help from another thread on here. It still wasn’t smooth. Slipped and smacked my nuts a good 3 or 4 times and was ready to punch a wall. There will be whiskey involved before the next attempt.

I was starting to think sex might have been possible this weekend, but once I pumped the amount of shaft pain quickly out that idea to rest. I had to stop pumping at about 4-1/4”, which is my flaccid state, just rigid and slightly thicker. I tolerated it for 15 min and deflated. This is definitely going to be a process.

Last night while laying on the couch I decided to get the wife off with my fingers. It was the first time I had been turned on since the surgery and this time when I squeezed the pubic muscles I felt my glands engorging. This was a huge relief and my primary concern with this procedure was the loss of that little extra rush you get when you squeeze. I’m back to feeling encouraged, but I’m sure I’ll flip flop 50 more times over the next 3 months.

Maxx, you're on a roller coaster.
I wouldn't take a picture if you don't feel comfortable doing that.
I have a beautiful dick and have never photographed it.
I'd probably hit the wrong button and post it on Facebook lol.

I wasn't ready for sex until 3 weeks post op so I wouldn't rush that.
Be careful pumping to grab the tubing going into the pump with one hand and use the other to pump.

Heck yeah it’s above board and legal and done in the privacy of your own kitchen. You keep it in refrigerator, like I did my trimix in the bad old days before implant.

Then again, I inject my own T in the hip or the quad. This is MUCH easier.

Insulin syringe. Take a pinch of skin on belly. Put a little bitty amount about 1/4” beneath the skin. Doesn’t hurt doesn’t bleed.

My side effects included return to normal sized balls, loss of belly fat, increased lean muscle mass, increased libido. Not everybody sees those and it helped I was working out regularly.

Continued good luck as you heal. I suspect you’re going to do great. You’ve got the right attitude.

As I started to read your post, I thought you were writing my biography. Uncanny, yet it was written so much better than I could have. Also it seems you dealt with it better than I did.

All the best.
