In 24 hours I will in the OR getting my Bionic power implanted. It has been a long process. I never thought it would ever come. I had a fairly easy process with insurance. The procedure was granted by insurance the first run through. Today I have to pack for the overnight stay at the hotel(since we are 2 hrs away), then off to the hospital in the morning.
I am excited. I think the fears are not in my thoughts. I am somewhat a free spirit that takes a day at a time.
My next post I will have full bionic powers!

Here's hoping everything went well. It is going to be a different week or so--take it easy and don't worry about the small stuff.
Peeing can be fun--get a hand-held urinal.
Use frozen peas as ice.
And stay down for most of the first week. Don't try to push it.
I am now 6 months after my implant surgery and loving life and my restored equipment!

Good luck!
Recovery will have it's challenges, but stick in there, it's worth it on the other side!
