Hey man,
I was implanted on 03/11/2021. I am living the time of my life.
Am I concern when my implant will stop working, absolutely "NO".
I am catching up with all the fun that I should have had when I was young. I am using my bionic at least 5 times a week and look a woman smiling, moaning and feeling her legs with goosebumps is the best experience ever.
Honestly, I haven't had time to think about the negatives when everything happening around me is great.

Unfortunately life can be neither fair or cheap. This is one way that I put this all in perspective. My wifes oldest sister required a heart pacemaker. Ok, not an uncommon operation. Recovery wasn't too long as I remember. Somewhere around 7 years later it needed to be replaced because the battery wore out. In my mind why should we expect a penile implant to be very much different? Yes, we moan & groan about implants. Yes they are not perfect, cheap or last forever. I'm sure that most of us have had to have a simple filling in our teeth replaced.
We can either plan for these things & do the best we can with our bodies. The only other option that I can see is to go consult with our designer. Feel free to point out that the design has some problems
Waqas007, I get your point but your timeline is heavily tilted by on the forum you are not seeing the entire group of implant owners. My own father in law never had a single issue with his & it lasted until his death. In simple words, your conclusion is flawed by the data you're looking at.

I believe most of the respondents to your posts are not arguing that your conclusions are not valid, based on the data you have gathered.

Most of the respondents have pointed out that your data is flawed, therefore your conclusions are suspect.

Researchers in peer-reviewed publications (to get their conclusions taken seriously) usually present their data-gathering methods and the raw data to the review boards (and even include them in their articles sometimes).

I don't expect you to present your data, but urge you to examine your collection methods. We seem to have a consensus that your data has led you to an incorrect conclusion.

A few respondents also seem to feel that your dim view of implants reveals something about your approach to E.D., perhaps life in general. This forum is a safe place to share, especially if you are candid and sincere. Consider this an invitation. Most of us are here to help as well as to get help.

Can you please send me the data or any research how many implant are working after 10 years of implantation and what is the credibility of that research
Of course penile implant is a great toy but don't you think all these researchers are influenced by these big companies ...

I’ll be glad to send you the information you request, but only after you remit $250,000 USD via wire transfer or cheque.

You probably think my request for payment is silly. Hoss, it’s nowhere near as stupid as you showing up on this site with insults and demands that people do research for you. Where you absolutely crossed the line, however, was calling it a toy.

A penile implant is not a toy. It’s like telling someone a hearing aid, eyeglasses, a prosthetic limb, a plastic heart valve....that those things are toys.

Sex is fun. No doubt about it. That’s why people do it. It also helps in ensuring the survival of our species. The desire for sex is as natural as the desire for food or water. How in the hell can you refer to a medical device that assists men with structural issues as a “toy.”

I won’t further prolong this thread with additional comments. Hopefully it will die a natural death and you’ll go away and bother other people. Don’t go away mad, just go away.

Can you please send me that data or any research YOU have indicating a service live expectancy of 7 years?

What country do you live in that prohibits more than one implant per lifetime (either by economic, legal or other factors)?

Sure, cost and privilege are not fairly nor evenly spread, so you, as an individual, may not have the opportunity to have coital sex with an implant more than once, but that is not applicable to everyone in the world.

Txagq8's response may be harsh, but you have presented a conclusion with which most here disagree. You have done this without supporting data. And now you accuse researchers of malfeasance. In this time of history, the epithet of "fake news" is tossed about with abandon much to the detriment of critical, rational and clear thinking.

Please do not contribute to the problem.

As far as your request for data showing how many implants are working after 10 years, there are research papers (I have found them on the internet in legitimate peer-reviewed medical journals of impeccable credentials) but if you suspect researchers are liars, what good is evidence to you? By the same reasoning, do you trust your OWN medical care team? Ask what thoughts your OWN physician (if you have one) has on the veracity of these researchers.

Take a reality check on your beliefs and get back to us.

Truer word were never spoken. Life is not fair by any means but as long as we have it we have to make the best of it. Really tragic that you never got to use your implant but you seem to have made peace with it.

Thanks for your kind words. I have found that, when life hands you something that cannot be fixed, it is really not that hard to accept your new reality. Would I prefer not to have suffered a stroke? Of course, but that is not something that is reversible. So, for example, sex was once something I could engage in, but now it isn't. Life goes on regardless, and it's not bad.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

Bro I am sorry if I hurt your sentiments
I am 30 suffering from ED let's suppose if I got my implant now and it last 10 years I will need 5 to 6 surgeries ?? How is it fair?.
Second I said "toy" in lighter mode not to discourage anybody
Researches are funded by these companies which are manufacturing these implants so there can be some issues with their credibility
