Hard bulb

Postby Rescuebrady » Wed Sep 01, 2021 11:07 pm

I’m 8 months post surgery and need some advise. I started cycling right off the bat 1-2 times gaily with no issues. The last few months I had covid and covid related complications that prevented me from cycling. Now I pump 6-7 times and the bulb is so hard now. I was pumping somewhere in the 40 area. Now having issues just to get 10 pumps. Any suggestions?

From what I have been told, 10-15 is really the max amount of pumping before the AMS device has an auto shut off of fluid. Anything over 15 is just exercise for your hand

10-15 full hard pumps maybe, but I don't get really hard till 30.

Surely then all dicks would end up the same size.

It all depends upon the amount of stretch that you can achieve.

Not being difficult, but I'm about to have a replacement with one of these and i intend to stretch the poor thing.

It would make sense if the bulbs were different sizes but then i doubt that.

I’ve just started cycling and finding the bulb super hard while trying to squeeze it. Furthermore…the whole pump twists around in there. It’s taking getting used to I’m sure but man it’s frustrating. Any guys with more experience know if the pump eventually stays fixed and when does pump soften up?

I think (caveat: I have not gotten confirmation from AMS) that it is not so much a shut off, but is a pressure relief valve.

With my AMS LGX, I can keep pumping and pumping and getting pretty good bulb squeezes, but the pressure does not feel any higher and the implant does not get any larger.

But here's the thing to watch out for. To be able to get compression of the bulb, I have to wait a couple of seconds between squeezes. Otherwise, the pump bulb is almost incompressible. I speculate that the flow through the pressure relief valve is rather slow. That would explain how my pump and implant perform. I cannot explain it any other way.

. Jimmy.Try Holding the Valve block and bulb steady by holding onto the tubes near the block with your other hand. My dr also said to squeeze the bulb more towards the block end. Wont slip out as easy that way.
