Anyone experienced an infection with implant?
Anyone experienced an infection with implant?
Have done my research. Telephone visit with Surgeon last week. (Dr Eid) Have read through all the pre-op material. At this point I almost feel like I could perform the surgery myself, (kidding of course). Thanks to this site for my Master's Degree in penisology. At this point my main concern is the possibility of infection. The thought of removing an infected device and the possible aftermath of that is scary. Has anyone on here gone through and dealt with an infection with their implant? All responses appreciated. Thanks.
67 years old. RP OCT/2018. Implanted by Dr Eid 11-12-2021. Titan 20cm. No regrets and 100% happy with the process and results. Forever grateful to Dr Eid for his diligence and expertise in helping men like me. Research, know your surgeon and prepare.
Re: Anyone experienced an infection with implant?
I can see on this forum some members who got infections, but there no known cause of the infection: when and why it happens. Every case is different. Infection may happen in any surgical intervention.
Almost every man with an implant has the fear of waking up one morning with a problem with the implant. Of course the infection is the most scary one.
Select the right doctor, follow his/her instructions, and will be good. world-class surgeons have very low infection rates.
