Titan deflate
So I get the clear to pump after 4 weeks. Problem is i cannot tell if I am fully deflated with as rigid as the cylinders are. He told me to make sure I am fully deflated so scar tissue does form around the reservoir. Also I work a desk job 12 hours a day and I swear it is self inflating some during the day. Any thoughts?
47 years old- dealing with ED since high school. Not sure on cause. Part psychological I am positive. Pills worked for years til they didn't. Libido problems . Decided no injections . Implant by Dr. Levine in 8/2/21. Coloplast titan 22cm with 1.5 rte.
Re: Titan deflate
The tubes are very stiff when new. They do soften over time. Sometimes I’ll deflate and and in a hour or so deflate again. I’ve experienced the same phenomena. The auto-inflation I believe is just not squeezing all the fluid out on the original deflate. When the tubes soften you’ll be able to push on them and tell if they are empty. It gets better with time. I think it took a couple of months before the perpetual erection feeling went away.
If in doubt, always contact your surgeon. Good luck and enjoy your new bionic dick!

Re: Titan deflate
Auto inflation seems to be a problem, but not one that can't be remedied. When you go to the bathroom, go into a stall, pull down your pants, and just deflate.
I understand about working a desk job. All that up and down and you may inadvertently put pressure on the bulb. No biggie, just get yourself into a stall. Besides, I think you would know if you were deflated or not. You are early with your new toy, so just go with the flow. If you feel like its inflated, go deflate it.
I think your Dr. talked about scarring over time, not right away, so relax:)!
My mantra...patience, patience, patience.

Re: Titan deflate
My routine is when i deflate i wrap my hand around my shaft and squeeze and bend it to get more fluid out. That does get most of the fluid out and i then give the pump one or two pumps to reset and that stops auto inflation.

Re: Titan deflate
Yea my Coloplast leaves me feeling like I have a semi-erection most of the time. It has softened some over the last 2 years but my flaccid state leaves a good bulge in my pants. To deflate I wrap a layer of towel around my shaft and hold the button while squeezing for 10-15 seconds.

Re: Titan deflate
Did you have the classic deflate button where you have to keep it squeezed? I just started cycling and it is tricky. You may know this, but after you deflate, put at least one good pump back in. This should help from autoinflation. The other advice I got was to ensure you press the center of the deflate button, then squeeze shaft. It may take longer than you think to go down. Once I had this figured out I was able to get it deflated a lot more than it had been. Good luck.
